Hate-monger Scott Lively: Gays Are Out To Kill Me

I wrote recently about the Human Rights Campaign’s new program to more fully expose those who work tirelessly to undercut LGBT people around the world. The program is called “The Export of Hate.”

The program lists several virulently anti-gay individuals who campaign not only against our rights, but our very existence. Appropriately, Scott Lively is number one on the list.

Lively, currently on trial for crimes against humanity, is widely credited with advocating for anti-gay laws in Uganda which could send gays and lesbians to prison for life, among many other atrocities.

Well, Lively is not happy being #1 on the Export of Hate list. And as such, he has penned an essay condemning what he calls a “hit list.”

Not every “gay” activist is physically violent, thankfully. Most limit their “human rights advocacy” to harassment, intimidation and slander. But make no mistake, if they thought they could get away will killing every person on the HRC and SPLC hit lists, they would do it. They smolder with malicious hatred against anyone who stands in their way.

So far its been the fear of harm they might do to their whitewashed, house-of-cards, Madison Avenue-created benign public image that stays their hands short of murder… except for a few random nut-jobs like Corkins.

[snip]

I believe they are now deliberately trying to incite murder against me and every other person on their enemies list. That might have sounded a bit paranoid in years past, but post-Corkins it is just cold hard fact that some “gay” activists are incited to murder by inflammatory leftist rhetoric. The HRC knows that, and yet their rhetoric in this Exporting Hate publication is MORE inflammatory than the SPLC’s rhetoric the drove Corkins over the edge!

I am demanding a retraction and public apology from both HRC and SPLC. To both of them I insist: STOP INCITING HATE BEFORE YOU GET PEOPLE KILLED!!!!!

In addition to his contributions to the Uganda “Kill The Gays” bill, he toured 50 cities in Russia where he is accused of recommending a ban on ‘gay propaganda’.

The guilty dog barks the loudest…

Wisconsin: 19 Year-Old Republican State Assembly Candidate Cancels Campaign Over Racist/Homophobic Comments

Jacob Dorsey

A 19-year-old Republican candidate for Wisconsin State Assembly has ended his campaign after racist and homophobic comments he had made on Twitter and YouTube came to light.

From LGBTQNation:

Jacob Dorsey told The Janesville Gazette on Tuesday he was ending his campaign for the Assembly, just five days after apologizing for a Christmas Day 2013 tweet in which he said “fags need 2 leave my favorite state alone.”

Dorsey was commenting on Twitter after the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit refused to issue a stay in a federal court ruling last year striking down Utah’s ban on same-sex marriage.

“I have decided to withdraw from the race due to insensitive remarks that have surfaced from years past,” Dorsey said in a statement to The Gazette. “This race has been extremely hard on my family and myself.”

Although Dorsey tried to add some “spin” that his comments were from “years ago,” some of the comments were posted just five months before he announced his candidacy.

Clearly the young man is still on the immature side of life and not qualified to hold public office.

Dorsey says he plans to return to school to pursue a degree, having taken the semester off to run for public office.

See some of his YouTube comments below:

Snoop Dogg calls couple “Fag” on Instagram then immediately deletes post

It seems to be big news today that Snoop Dogg is a homophobe having posted an anti-gay Instagram message calling someone a “f.A.G.”

Not sure what the squabble was about, but 40 minutes after posting the anti-gay slur, the post was deleted.

This isn’t the first time Snoop has expressed his homophobia publicly.  Back in April of 2013, Snoop explained that it was ok for Frank Ocean to come out because he’s a singer; but that wouldn’t cut it in the world of rap because “rap is so masculine.”

Noah Michelson of Huffington Post isn’t afraid of Westboro Baptist Church

Huffington Post Gay Voices editor Noah Michelson has written a compelling essay regarding anti-gay Westboro Baptist Church’s threat to picket the offices of Huffington Post.

“We’re not scared of a handful of sad people with access to school supplies and a few nasty slogans.”

Michelson explains why WBC has actually accomplished some good by shedding light on the hateful side of religious-based homophobes thereby encouraging folks to “scramble to get out of their shadow so as not to be confused with them or their hate.”

Extreme right-wing Christian group to protest Dallas Cowboys over signing Michael Sam

Anti-gay conservative activist Jack Burkman

Well, sadly, we all knew this was coming.

GOP lobbyist and conservative activist Jack Burkman says his extreme right-wing Christian group American Decency will protest this Sunday’s Dallas Cowboys game over the signing of out NFL-er Michael Sam:

Jack Burkman heads the group which claims to have 3.62 million members in 41 states. Burkman says, “We cannot just stand idly by as Christian values and morals are trampled. We will do whatever we can to preserve family values in this country.”

[snip]

Some callers to 105.3 The Fan made verbal tackles against Sam. One caller said, “I don’t want my kids looking up to me and say Daddy, what does that mean that he’s gay?” But other fans say with the Cowboy‎’s weak defense, they may need Michael Sam’s strengths. “If he can use the speed to get around the corner and get to the quarterback, hey, that’s all we need.”

You’ll recall that back in May, Burkman announced he would boycott any NFL team that signed Sam.

In February, he proposed a federal law banning gay athletes from the NFL.

Duck Dynasty personality Phil Robertson says he’s “as much of a homophobe as Jesus was”

Anti-gay Phil Robertson, of Duck Dynasty fame, has written a new book – UnPHILtered – to “clear the air” on several topics.

Of course, one of those being his now famous comments about gays in an GQ interview that saw him be suspended from his TV show.

In this interview with ABC, Robertson is asked if he thinks he’s a homophobe. His response: I’m as much of a homophobe as Jesus was.”

I somehow doubt that. Watch the interview below:

The Heterosexuality Experiment

Intrepid YouTube contributor Joseph Costello has posted what he calls his “heterosexuality experiment.”

Roaming the streets of Austin, Texas, Costello asks  folks if they would vote for a “an admitted heterosexual president.”

It turns out a lot of homophobes don’t even know the meaning of the word “heterosexual.”

What a surprise…

No gays allowed at Kentucky printing shop

Herald Embroidery in Oak Grove, Kentucky produces customized apparel, ad banners, and other promotional materials.

So it looks like as long as you are a bearded Christian packing heat, you are welcome in their store, but gays are definitely not. From an online review posted last week:

My wife and I went into this shop to get shirts for my parent’s anniversary. We went in holding hands and the clerks gave us dirty looks the entire time. We didn’t understand why; maybe they thought we were suspicious?

I confronted one of the employees and they directed me to a sticker in the window. It had a pride flag on it and it basically meant gays weren’t welcome.

My wife and I were heartbroken; we just wanted shirts made! But we wasted a trip for nothing. Guess we’ll get our shirts online next time. So sad about this treatment.

At the very least, gay customers know their dollars aren’t welcomed there.

There are no statewide protections for gays or lesbians in Kentucky.

Cokie Roberts calls out homophobes Ralph Reed and Franklin Graham on “This Week”

Cockie Roberts (L) and Ralph Reed (R)

Cokie Roberts confronted homophobes Reverend Franklin Graham and Ralph Reed about their stance on gay families on ABC’s “This Week.”

Here’s the transcript:

Ralph Reed: This is about what’s best for children here in the United States. And the social science is irrefutable. And it is that a child who grows up in a home without the mother and father present and they both play very unique procreative, nurturing and socializing role, they’re nine times more likely to end up dropping out of high school. They’re five times more likely to end up in poverty. And they’re three times more likely to end up addicted drugs and alcohol.

Cokie Roberts: Orphanages than a child raised in a home. And the fact that people are willing to take these children and raise them and raise them in a loving way is clearly better for these children.

Martha Raddatz: Would you agree with that? Would you rather have a child sitting in an orphanage and not have gay parents?

Ralph Reed: I think that the social science is just simply not in yet on same-sex couples and I think the law has every right to set an ideal. And the ideal is a mother and a father.

Cokie Roberts: The reason the numbers have changed so dramatically on this, first of all, that ideal isn’t true in all kinds of families that … being what it is and the abandoned mothers. But it is also true. I mean, if we got, if we got better men, we’d be in better shape. The reason the numbers have changed so fast and so dramatically on this question of gay marriage — it’s really like no other issue we’ve ever experienced — is because everybody in American now has experience with someone who is gay. People have come out of the closet and said, I am your brother. I am your sister. And then they have seen these families raising children and see these –

Martha Raddatz: I’m going to switch on this last one, back to you, Reverend Graham. And I’m going to ask you about your dad.Your father was known as the pastor to the presidents. Does that rule still exist, do you think?

Rev. Franklin Graham: Well, I don’t know, not like he had it. But our country is different today and it’s changed, no question.

[snip]

You know, when we talk about families and we talk about gay people, many people — maybe gays that are watching, you know, want to know can God forgive me or can I go to heaven as a gay person, absolutely. But the same for any of us. We have to repent of our sins and turn. A person cannot stay in adultery and be accepted by God. You have to repent.

Martha Raddatz: What would you say to those children? What would you say to those children of gay parents?

Rev. Franklin Graham: What children? Of gay parents?

Martha Raddatz: About their parents?

Rev. Franklin Graham: That, like any parent who is living in sin. If we repent — Franklin Graham is a sinner, and I’m no better than a gay person. I’m a sinner. But I’ve been forgiven, and I’ve turned from my sins.

And for any person that’s willing to repent, in turn, God will forgive. And you can be gay and go to heaven, no question.

Cokie Roberts: There are a lot of gay people who feel that they are sinners, but not because they’re gay.

Martha Raddatz: Thank you, Cokie. Thanks to everyone. And happy Easter to everyone.

Note Cokie’s eye-roll at the end of the segment.  Watch the exchange below:

Drama Queen Alert – Matt Barber

Matt Barber, writing for Barbwire, goes on a very dramatic diatribe about “homofascists” and “breaking out the long knives” over the recent debacle at Mozilla with Brendan Eich stepping down as CEO:

Sadly, many people, even many Christians, think that I and others are using hyperbole when we refer to this sexual anarchist “LGBT” movement as “homofascist” or the “Gaystapo.” I hope you’ll think again. It’s time to wake up and smell the impending anti-Christian persecution. It’s fully at hand.

Christians, buckle up. Your whole world is about to change. The Rainbowshirts are emboldened and they’ve broken out the long knives. “Therefore pride is their necklace; they clothe themselves with violence” – Psalm 73:6.

They smell blood in the water. I’ve often said that these folks want those who speak Biblical truth about human sexuality and legitimate marriage either 1) dead, 2) imprisoned or, if they can have neither of these, 3) marginalized to the point where they can’t even support their families.

Check No. 3 off the list. I guess they’re working backwards.

Freedom is hanging on by a thread, America, and it is those who worship the sin of Sodom that are determined to finish it off once and for all.
