Young homophobe banned from Youtube for hate speech

For years, young Caiden Cowger has been posting homophobic rants on Youtube.

I would post one here for you as an example EXCEPT the little hater has now been banned from Youtube. The mini-Limbaugh posted the news on his “Cowger Nation” website today.

“We’d like to inform you that due to repeated or severe violations of our Community Guidelines (http://www.youtube.com/t/community_guidelines) your YouTube account CaidenCowgerShow has been suspended. After review we determined that activity in your account violated our Community Guidelines, which state that hate speech is not acceptable on our site. “Hate speech” means content that promotes hatred or violence against members of a protected group (race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, veteran status, and sexual orientation/gender identity). Please be aware that you are prohibited from accessing, possessing or creating any other YouTube accounts. For more information about account terminations and how our Community Guidelines are enforced, please visit our Help Center at https://support.google.com/youtube/bin/answer.py?answer=92486&hl=en-US.”

The headline of his post today was “Youtube Bans Cowger For Life!”

Quite the drama queen, isn’t he? And he writes in the third person?

Cowger goes on to say that he never “spoke words of hatred toward a group of people. I spoke against their behavior. On that channel, I simply just voiced my opinions opposing liberalism, including the homosexual lifestyle.” So, clearly he has a loose handle on language skills because what he was spreading on his now-defunct Youtube channel was clearly hate speech.

By the way, how’s that for an ego – Cowger Nation???

SRSLY.

Baylor University Student Body President vetoes removing “homosexual acts” from school’s misconduct code

HodgesLast week, Baylor University’s Student Senate voted to pass the Sexual Misconduct Code Non-Discrimination Act, which would remove “homosexual acts” from the school’s “sexual misconduct code.”

The Student Body President vetoed that decision on Thursday, the Waco Tribune reports:

Student Body President Wesley Hodges told the Student Senate Thursday that the university’s board of regents likely would not have granted final approval for the change to the policy, especially because the full student body had not had a chance to weigh in on the topic.

The senate did not achieve a two-thirds majority to override the veto during a vote in a closed session.

“I truly believe that Baylor treats its students with grace, love and truth, and in doing that seeks to accept all students, but does not affirm all student behaviors,” Hodges said. “Simply because the university disagrees with your actions or lifestyle, does not imply that it is seeking to attack you.”

CBS’ Big Brother airs racist/homophobic comments by contestants

Yesterday I reported that Big Brother contestants Aaryn Gries, a 22-year-old Texas college student and GinaMarie Zimmerman, a 32-year-old New York pageant coordinator, have both been fired from their respective jobs outside of the game after a conversation between the two of them on the unaired ‘live feeds’, laced with racist and homophobic slurs, made its way to the web.

On last night’s episode, CBS finally aired a segment of some of the racist and homophobic remarks made by Gries in what many are hoping is the beginning of a trend to expose the real-life views of some of the show’s players. Above is a compilation of the icky comments made thus far on this season pulled from the live internet feeds. The homophobia begins around 7:00.

Among Gries’ comments are her comments about the gay contestant Andy: “no one’s going to vote for whoever that queer puts up.”

Gries also comments about an Asian contestant, Helen: “go make some rice.”…”I probably look like a squinty Asian right now….Why you no have boyfriend? It’s because you don’t want long nail!”

The segment also includes a snippet from Zimmerman: “Candice is already on the dark side because she’s already dark.”

Another contestant, Spencer Clawson, a conductor for Union Pacific railroad, is now facing real-world consequences for his homophobic and pro-Hitler remarks on the show, TMZ reports:

Clawson has been captured on “BB” cams calling one houseguest “Kermit the F**” and praising Hitler as a gifted speaker.

Clawson serves as a railroad conductor for Union Pacific, who released a statement on their website saying, “The values represented by Spencer Clawson’s comments during the Big Brother show do not at all align with Union Pacific’s values.”

They continued, “Mr. Clawson is on unpaid leave of absence while participating on Big Brother. Union Pacific does not condone his comments.”

They ended their statement by saying they are “acting in accordance with Collective Bargaining Agreement terms regarding Mr. Clawson” … which sounds like they are setting the stage to fire his ass first chance they get.

According to Tumblr users chronicling the dialogue on the live feeds, Spencer has also said about gay contestant Andy: “Of all the hate crimes that happen in the US, why couldn’t one happen to that guy?”

CBS’ Big Brother contestants making lots of racist/homophobic comments this season

Aaryn Gries — currently on CBS’ “Big Brother” — has been dropped by her modeling agency after using racist and homophobic comments in the BB house.

Gries has been under fire for referring to a gay house guest as a “queer,” for telling an Asian-American houseguest to “shut up and go and make some rice,” and for saying just ugly racist comments about black people.

Referring to a black contestant, Aaryn said “Be careful what you say in the dark, you might not be able to see that b*tch.”

Well, it turns out Gries is a model and her agency in Austin, Texas, has decided they’ve seen enough of Gries’ ugly side. The agency has announced their decision to drop Aaryn from the agency because of her lack of inner beauty.

“Aaryn, season 15 cast member of Big Brother, revealed prejudices and other beliefs that we (Zephyr Talent) do not condone.”

Zephyr continues, ” We certainly find the statements made by Aaryn on the live Internet feed to be offensive. Upon much consideration, we have decided to release Aaryn from her contract with Zephyr Talent.”

Alabama: High school teacher tells students “I don’t like queers”

A northern Alabama high school teacher is being investigated after a student recorded him making derogatory statements about gays and First Lady Michelle Obama.

School district officials are investigating allegations that a Lauderdale County High School teacher made slurs in the presence of students regarding first lady Michelle Obama and gays.

Superintendent Jennifer Gray confirmed the investigation concerns the school’s head football coach, Bob Grisham, who also teaches driver’s education and psychology.

The investigation includes a 1-minute, 24-second audiotape of Grisham asking who knows who is behind the 600-calorie school lunch. “Fat butt Michelle Obama,” he said. “Look at her. She looks like she weighs 185 or 190. She’s overweight.”

Male voices interject comments during the discussion, at one point referring to Michelle Obama as a “fat gorilla.”

Later in the tape, Grisham referred to the U.S. as going in the “wrong direction” and tells the students they can “get pissed off at me or not. You can go tell the principal, call the superintendent and tell her. I don’t believe in queers. I don’t like queers, I don’t hate them as a person, but what they do is wrong and an abomination against God.”

The tape was reportedly recorded by a student Monday and took place on school campus during the school day.

Grisham told the TimesDaily on Wednesday afternoon he misspoke. “I misspoke in a debate-type situation,” he said. “I have no hatred toward anyone or any group. People that know my heart, they know that.”

The Super Cut of “outed” political & religious homophobes

Via Towleroad, this is a little trip down memory lane of some of the most virulent political & religious homophobes to be “outed.”

The clip stars such well-known hypocrites as Ted Haggard, George A. Rekers, Richard Curtis, Roy Ashburn, Albert Odulele, Mark Foley, Christopher Lee, Eddie Long, Jim West, Paul Babeu, Ken Mehlman, and Larry Craig.

Just a reminder that, yes, many times the guilty dog barks the loudest.

So, the next time you see someone leading the charge in the anti-gay fight, you might step back and wonder “hmm…”
