President Obama Burns Trump Reading “Mean Tweet”

This has to go down as one of the “Top Ten Moments” of this election cycle.

As President Obama returns to Jimmy Kimmel’s show for another round of “Presidential Mean Tweets” where he reads negative tweets about himself, Obama delivers a mic-drop worthy response to one tweet in particular from a certain orange hued critic.

Catch the long stare into the camera after his response.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren To Trump: “Nasty Women Vote!”

Sen. Elizabeth Warren campaigning for Hillary Clinton in New Hampshire today:

“Donald Trump disrespects — aggressively disrespects — more than half the human beings in this country. He thinks that because he is a celebrity, he can rate women from 1 to 10. He thinks that because he has a mouthful of tic-tacs, he can force himself on any woman within groping distance.”

“Get this, Donald, nasty women are tough. Nasty women are smart, and nasty women VOTE. Non Nov. 8, we nasty women are gonna walk our nasty feet to cast our nasty votes to get you out of our lives forever.”

Scenes From Las Vegas Pride 2016

Taking the stage to host Las Vegas Pride Festival 2016

I had an awesome time this past weekend at Las Vegas Pride. With a huge turnout at Sunset Park over two days of PRIDE Festival, there was definitely something for everyone.

I was honored to host the mainstage with the glamorous Shannel, of RuPauls’ Drag Race and the new star and host of 53X at the Chateau Showroom at Paris Las Vegas.

From afternoon to evening, we chatted up the crowd and introduced folks like the Chippendales, comedian and Pride Parade Marshal Alec Mapa, current U.S. Senate candidate Catherine Cortez Masto, stars from Frank Marino’s DIVAS and more.

This year’s festival also included two additional stages, one for more intimate performances and one for dance music, plus a special PRIDE pet park with pet costume contest!

Donald Trump Test-Drives “Trump TV” Via Facebook

Starting tonight at 6:30PM ET, Donald Trump will begin streaming a live “show” via Facebook Live that could well be the forerunner of a future TRUMP TV.

The live-stream will be hosted by Boris Epshteyn, a senior adviser to the campaign, Tomi Lahren, a conservative commentator for Glenn Beck’s TheBlaze, and Cliff Sims, another Trump adviser. Tonight’s “premiere” will feature interviews with Trump campaign manager KellyAnne Conway and adviser Jason Miller.

From Wired:

The series, which will stream Trump’s rallies directly each night and feature pre-and post-event commentary, comes on the heels of the campaign’s debate night Facebook Live last week, which brought in more than 9 million views.

Members of the media quickly seized on the event, calling it a test drive for Trump TV, the post-election television network that Trump is rumored to be considering in the event he loses in November. Despite reports that his son-in-law has been talking to media dealmakers about Trump TV, Trump himself has denied he has any interest in such a thing.

Epshteyn says this nightly Facebook Live stream is simply a way for the campaign to circumvent the mainstream media Trump so publicly loathes. “We all know how strong the left wing media bias is. This is us delivering our message to voters,” he says. “It has nothing to do with Trump TV. It’s about using 21st century technology and communication in a way that’s effective.”

You have to wonder if Trump will evolve into the new “Baghdad Bob…?”

CNN Poll: Hillary Clinton Leads By 5 Over Donald Trump

The latest CNN/ORC poll shows Democrat Hillary Clinton holding a solid 5 point lead ahead of Republican Donald Trump. When the third party candidates are factored out, Clinton leads by 6 points.

Among likely voters, Clinton tops Trump 49% to 44%, with just 3% backing Libertarian Gary Johnson and 2% behind Green Party nominee Jill Stein.

Clinton now stands at 53% among voters under age 45, compared with 47% in the previous CNN/ORC poll. In fact, the only age group where Clinton currently trails Trump is among those age 50-64, who back Trump by 4 points in this poll.

Clinton’s support has also ticked up a few points among non-whites (72% back her now vs. 69% in a poll conducted just after the first debate, not a large enough change to be significant, but edges her margin over Trump among this group above 50 points).

Trump has gained a bit among white voters, edging up to 54% in the new poll from 49% support in the last poll. That gain is centered largely among white non-college voters, who break for Trump by a 62% to 32% margin, while white college grads continue to lean in Clinton’s direction, favoring the former secretary of state by 11 points.

The gender gap remains large, with Clinton holding a wide 12-point lead among women, topping Trump 53% to 41% among that group, while Trump edges Clinton by a narrow 3-points among men, 48% to 45%.

CNN’s “Poll of Polls” – which averages the results of several major national polls – shows Clinton with a 9 point lead.

Pete Burns, Frontman For DEAD OR ALIVE, Dead At 57

From The Guardian:

Singer Pete Burns, who founded pop group Dead Or Alive, has died aged 57 after a cardiac arrest.

Burns rose to fame in the 1980s with the band’s hit song You Spin Me Round. He also appeared on Big Brother in 2006, coming fifth in the final.

A joint statement released by his partner, Michael Simpson, his ex-wife, Lynn, and his manager, Steve Coy, read: “All of his family and friends are devastated by the loss of our special star. He was a true visionary, a beautiful talented soul and will be missed by all those who loved and appreciated everything he was and all of the wonderful memories he has left us with.”

Such a young age. Of course you know the massive dance hit.

Muddled Republican Message – Winning? Behind? Tied?

Over the weekend, Donald Trump’s campaign manager Kellyanne Conway admitted that her candidate is currently behind in the race for the White House.

On the campaign trail today, Donald Trump told supporters that he’s winning and that the polls that he’s championed for a year now are faked.

Today, RNC spokesman Sean Spicer told CNN that the contest is in a dead heat, and that the media is pushing polling results showing Trump behind so that Republican voters will stay home.

You have to wonder – which is it? Behind? Winning? Tied?

Or is Spicer doing his job trying to keep GOP morale up so down ballot candidates don’t lose in their races?

From Mediaite:

During a heated and contentious interview with CNN’s John Berman and Kate Bolduan, RNC communications director Sean Spicer insisted that the race for the White House was a “dead heat” and said that Republican nominee Donald Trump was ahead in several key battleground states.

Per Spicer, the whole thing is even and many polls show Trump is trending up. The spokesperson pointed out a recent national poll from IBD that shows a tied race to justify his belief that it is a dead heat. At that point, Berman interrupted him, saying that they are now getting three narratives — Trump is winning, Trump is behind and now Trump is tied.

Bolduan jumped in to push Spicer to take a side since they had just showed Trump saying that he is winning right now. The Republican strategist then said that Trump was right because he’s winning the state he is currently in, which is Florida.

“He’s winning in Florida,” Berman asked. “Absolutely,” Spicer responded. When Berman questioned by how much, Spicer answered that it was by a “few points.”

New Pro-Hillary Campaign Spot “Ricardo” Features Pulse Survivor

The Human Rights Campaign released a new campaign spot in support of Hillary Clinton featuring Pulse Nightclub massacre survivor and Orlando resident, Ricardo Negron-Almodovar.

“You have to vote. Let your voice be heard. Every issue that we face has a root at the political level. We are a force to be reckoned with if we organize.”

Today is the first day of in-person early voting in Florida.

Democrats See High Numbers In Nevada Early Voting

The first weekend of early voting ended in Nevada as a blowout for the Democrats.

Of the 57,331 votes cast this weekend, 30,062 ballots (52.44%) were cast by Dems while only 17,121 votes (29.86%) by Republicans.

That’s almost a 13,000 vote lead for Democrats. While we don’t know exactly who folks voted for, most registered voters do vote their party. So, take these numbers as you may.
