Today we observe Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR), recognized each year on November 20 that honors the memory of the transgender people whose lives were lost in acts of anti-transgender violence. The Human Rights Campaign reports at least 47 transgender and gender non-conforming people were victims of violent homicides in 2021 so far. And there are 6 weeks left in the year.
