According to The New Yorker, Kimberly Guilfoyle, girlfriend to Donald Trump Jr., didn’t leave Fox News Channel in July 2018 under what you might call “good circumstances.”

In fact, the New Yorker is reporting tonight that a former assistant to Guilfoyle sent company executives “a 42-page draft complaint that accused Guilfoyle of repeated sexual harassment, and demanded monetary relief.”

The woman was hired in 2015, just out of college, to work as an assistant for Guilfoyle and another former Fox host, Eric Bolling.

According to a dozen well-informed sources familiar with her complaints, the assistant alleged that Guilfoyle, her direct supervisor, subjected her frequently to degrading, abusive, and sexually inappropriate behavior; among other things, she said that she was frequently required to work at Guilfoyle’s New York apartment while the Fox host displayed herself naked, and was shown photographs of the genitalia of men with whom Guilfoyle had had sexual relations.

The draft complaint also alleged that Guilfoyle spoke incessantly and luridly about her sex life, and on one occasion demanded a massage of her bare thighs; other times, she said, Guilfoyle told her to submit to a Fox employee’s demands for sexual favors, encouraged her to sleep with wealthy and powerful men, asked her to critique her naked body, demanded that she share a room with her on business trips, required her to sleep over at her apartment, and exposed herself to her, making her feel deeply uncomfortable.

Apparently, the accusations are tied into the departure of Guilfoyle’s former co-host at Fox News, Eric Bolling, who left the cable news channel due to allegations of sexual misconduct against him.

Good grief.

Multiple sources tell the New Yorker  the female assistant agreed to a $4 million settlement. Guilfoyle denied the accusations through her lawyer.

The rumors that Guilfoyle was forced out of her position at Fox News years before her contract ended were first reported by HuffPost in 2018.

Campaign Secretly Paying Trump Sons’ Significant Others $180K A Year

Donald Trump’s reelection campaign is reportedly paying the wife of Eric Trump and Don Trump Jr.’s girlfriend $180,000 a year each via campaign manager Brad Parscale’s private company.

Why through a private company, you ask?

Via HuffPost:

Kimberly Guilfoyle, the girlfriend of eldest son Donald Trump Jr., and Lara Trump, wife of middle son Eric Trump, are each receiving $15,000 a month, according to two GOP sources who are informal White House advisers and who spoke on condition of anonymity.

They were unsure when the payments began but say they are being made by campaign manager Bradley Parscale through his company rather than directly by either the campaign or the party in order to avoid public reporting requirements.

“I can pay them however I want to pay them,” Parscale told HuffPost on Friday, but then declined to comment any further.

Critics of the arrangement, including Republicans, said the setup was designed to get around Federal Election Commission rules that require campaigns, political parties and other committees to disclose their spending in detail.

“A lot of people close to Donald Trump are getting rich off of his campaign,” said Paul Ryan, a campaign finance legal expert at the watchdog group Common Cause. “They don’t want donors to know that they’re getting rich. Because, at the end of the day, it’s donor money.”

University Student President Facing Impeachment Over $50K Payment To Trump Jr & Girlfriend

The student body president of the University of Florida is facing possible impeachment for inviting Donald Trump Jr. and his girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle to the campus for speeches on October 10.

Junior and Guilfoyle, a Trump campaign adviser, were reportedly paid a $50,000 fee for the appearance funded via student activity fees.

According to the Tampa Bay Times, the law says public funds cannot be used to support political campaigns.

Student body president Michael C. Murphy received a formal resolution for his impeachment Tuesday afternoon, which was signed by more than 100 students and alumni.

This is only the second time in the university’s 115-year history a student body president has faced impeachment.

The university’s student newspaper The Alligator reports that Murphy’s father, Dan Murphy, is a pro-Trump lobbyist in Washington, D.C. who has maxed out donations to Trump’s re-election campaign and has been photographed speaking to Trump Jr. in Washington.

Michael Murphy didn’t answer questions related to his father’s involvement with the Trump campaign, nor with Trump Jr. He said there is “no conflict of interest.”

This seems a bit premature, but hey, with the Trump administration every day’s a new frontier.

From Mercury News:

Kimberly Guilfoyle, the former first lady of San Francisco and current Fox News host, is in conversations with the Trump administration about becoming White House press secretary, she said in an exclusive interview with the Bay Area News Group Monday night.

Guilfoyle said the idea of her taking the job or another press role in the White House has been “raised by a number of people” in the Trump administration, although she declined to go into specifics. She said she’s regularly in touch with members of the administration in the course of her job.

“I’m a patriot, and it would be an honor to serve the country,” Guilfoyle said. “I think it’d be a fascinating job. It’s a challenging job, and you need someone really determined and focused, a great communicator in there with deep knowledge to be able to handle that position.”
