Gus Kenworthy’s Death-Defying Search For A Certain Celeb’s Internet Nudes

One thing the interwebs has revealed to us over the years is the almost universal thirst folks can have for discovering celebrity nudes on the internet.

Oh yes, we’re all human when it comes to checking out what our favorite stars’ might have to offer.

And the celebs themselves have the thirst as well.

This weekend woofy out Olympian Gus Kenworthy posted a series of pics to his Instagram showing him deep in thought high above the city of Interlaken, Switzerland.

“Me in the cloud searching for @zacefron’s nudes like…” was the caption accompanied by an inquisitive emoji and a smart phone and cloud.

Yes, kids, the thirst is real.

The post (which was Gus’s 1,000th Instagram post, btw) has garnered almost 80,000 likes in a day.

Besides tons of warnings for Gus to get down from the edge of the railing he was sitting on, most fans pleaded with him to share anything he might find.

“Did you find any? Asking for a friend”

“When you find them, forward my way – I won’t tell”

As well as the to-be-expected requests for his own nude pics:

“Plot twist – release your own”

“Are there any of your own up there?”

“I was just searching for yours…”

Gus has posted high-flying pics before when showing off his travels. You’ve got to love a daredevil:

In addition to the death defying photos, Kenworthy has also shared his obsession over Zac Efron with his social media followers for some time now.

Earlier this year, after reading a news item where a man claimed a prescription drug turned him gay, the freestyle skier tweeted, “*overnights lyrics to @zacefron*.”

And back in June 2017, after reading a report on Efron describing his first time kissing a guy, Gus offered to “volunteer as a tribute.”

Clearly, Gus has great taste when it comes to celeb crushes.

Is there anyone out there you’ve spent time searching for in the ‘all-together?’

The Twitterverse was more than entertained:

Adam Rippon and Gus Kenworthy (image via Twitter)

Out Olympians Adam Rippon and Gus Kenworthy have been entertaining their fans with their awesome bromance since the beginning of the 2018 Winter Olympics.

Since then, the dynamic duo have exchanged lots of clever and sly repartee in interviews and photo shoots, all to our delight.

This past weekend, though, Kenworthy took things to a new level as he debuted his Halloween costume which he labeled, “Adam Rippoff,” riffing on Rippon’s now-famous Academy Awards outfit complete with leather harness.

In concocting the photo, you may notice Kenworthy also replaced the Oscar statue in the background for something a bit more comical.

Rippon, never at a loss for a quick retort, replied in his own inimitable manner tweeting, “We finally did each other [eggplant]”

Kenworthy continued the exchange with his own “admission” that he’s “wanted to do” Rippon since they met:

Rippon, forever comfortable with a quip, replied with a simple, “Feels right:”

Boys, please don’t ever change 🙂

Speaking to Variety, woofy out Olympian Gus Kenworthy shares that he thought more athletes would follow him out of the closet when he famously came out in 2015 via ESPN Magazine:

“I really thought I was going to come out in ESPN and then suddenly other people would too, other skiers and snowboarders. I really thought it was going to happen, and it hasn’t.

“It’s not easy, and it doesn’t seem to be getting easier. But I do think that more athletes need to come out, and athletes need to recognize that they have a responsibility to come out. It’s only going to do good to have more representation and visibility.”

Well, Gus, it is National Coming Out Day. Maybe we’ll see some today?

By the way, Gus recently shared that he actually got on skis for the first time since the Olympics. He playfully wondered if he’d forgotten all those Olympic silver medal skills.

Yeah, no way.

Olympic skier Gus Kenworthy was crushing hard on pop star Shawn Mendes as he attended last night’s iHearRadio MMVAs this weekend.

The event, which celebrates the year’s best in music videos, brought the hunky Olympic silver medalist face to face with his celeb crush, Mendes, on the red carpet.

It wasn’t long before Kenworthy shared a selfie that broke gay Instagram as he posed with Mendes and what appeared to be a photobombing Colton Haynes.

Gushing Gus snapped that shot and sent it out onto the Twitterverse with the logo for porn company Sean Cody in the corner and the caption, “New video coming soon!”

Gus Kenworthy Heartbroken As His South Korean Rescue Pup Beemo Passes Away

Gus Kenworthy's South Korean rescue pup, Beemo, passed away this week due to an unforeseen lung/heart issue
Gus Kenworthy and Beemo

Very sad news from out Olympian Gus Kenworthy who famously saved his new pup, Beemo, from a dog farm in South Korea from being killed.

Beemo apparently became less and less interested in her food this past week and when Gus and boyfriend Matt Wilkas took her to the veterinarian, it was discovered that “her lungs were deteriorated and that her heart was too big for her body – a birth defect we had no way of knowing about.”

According to the silver medalist, vets said there was no way to know about the condition and she had been living on “borrowed time.”

See Gus and Matt’s heartbreaking notes below.

Two days ago my beautiful baby Beemo passed away. It was completely unexpected and Matt and I are beside ourselves trying to cope with her loss. For a week or so we’d been worrying because she was showing less and less interest in her food. There were several trips to the vet and on our final visit this past Thursday I asked them do a full body scan in case there was an underlying issue they had missed. Beemo went into a panic attack during the x-rays and her breathing became rapid and shallow. The scan revealed that her lungs were deteriorated and that her heart was too big for her body – a birth defect we had no way of knowing about. Unable to treat her there, I rushed her to the emergency vet where a breathing tube was put down her throat. They hoped that with a respirator breathing for her they could get her vitals back to a normal level so she could be treated but they were never able to do so. The past two days have been a blur. It all happened so fast that it’s still hard to believe it. The ER doc told us that even if we’d somehow spotted the issue earlier it wouldn’t have made a difference in the end. He said that she’d been living on “borrowed time” from the get go. Beemo was truly the best thing that ever happened to me and I feel so fortunate for our borrowed time together. I’ve never loved anything or anyone in the way that I loved that dog and she is and will always be deeply missed. She was so smart and playful. She brought so much happiness to so many people every single day. I’ll always remember being out on a walk with her and every other second she would get stopped by someone wanting to pet her, kneel down and kiss her, hold her in their arms or take a photo and on many occasions a crowd of people would have formed around her. That was her power: she made people smile. She was the kindest, most gentle soul I’ve ever known. She loved people. She loved birds and the snow. She loved me and Matt. But most of all she loved meeting other dogs. If any of you have pets up in doggy heaven please tell them to go find Bee because she could really use a good play date right now. RIP sweet creature – your daddy loves you more than you could ever even know!

This is an incredibly sad post, I’m sorry… On Thursday @beemopup passed away. She had gotten sick about a week prior, stopped eating… the vets thought it was worms or possibly fussiness. When she wasn’t getting better we brought her to the vet again and they took x-rays that revealed her heart was too big. She was born with a heart defect we weren’t aware of. It was effecting all of her functions. We rushed her to the emergency room in an attempt to save her but there was nothing that could be done. The ER vets brought us down to be with her as she died. I can’t say I’ve ever experienced anything so heartbreaking. We pet her, we kissed her, we said our goodbyes and watched her take her last breaths. Many people who have never owned a dog might think to themselves “it’s just a dog”. But she wasn’t just a dog. She was our friend, she was our family, she was there in the morning when we woke up, she was so happy to see us every time we came home, and she loved us unconditionally. From the moment we met her on a dog meat farm in South Korea we knew how special she was. She made a hundred people smile every day. Every walk we took her on was interrupted again and again by people wanting to meet her, pet her, kiss her. (If you are reading this and you met her, then you know what i mean). She loved people. She loved playing with other dogs. She loved birds. Even on her last walks, when she was at her most tired and weakest, she really just wanted to be a puppy and play. She changed peoples lives. She changed my life. She changed Gus’s life. And she brought attention to an important cause (PLEASE RESCUE A DOG! PLEASE DONATE TO @hsiglobal THEY ARE, IN ADDITION TO DOING SO MANY OTHER THINGS, SHUTTING DOWN THE MEAT FARM INDUSTRY IN SOUTH KOREA!) I feel so grateful and lucky to have known her even for a brief moment. And I don’t regret giving her a happy love-filled life only to be so heartbroken now. It was worth it. Goodbye Bee. 🐝A post shared by Matthew Wilkas (@mwilkas) on May 26, 2018 at 6:36pm PDT

Beemo had become something of a social media phenom herself as Gus opened an Instagram account “for her” and she quickly gained over 100K followers.

Gus posted the pic below with the quote, “The candle that burns twice as bright burns half as long. RIP Beemo – you were and always will be very loved!”

Kenworthy, in “special correspondent” mode, interviewed Rippon about being the first openly gay U.S. athlete at the Winter Olympics and in doing so becoming “America’s sweetheart” as well as a leading voice for the LGBQ community.

Rippon made his Dancing with the Stars debut this week delivering a killer cha-cha to RuPaul’s “Sissy That Walk.”

Check out the interview below, and make sure you hang out for the last minute where Gus decides to teach Adam a few dances moves 😉

Olympic Silver-Medalist Gus Kenworthy To Headline DNC’s LGBTQ Gala In June

Gus Kenworthy (image via Instagram)

Woofy out Olympic silver medalist Gus Kenworthy will headline the Democratic National Committee’s LGBTQ Gala on June 25 in New York City.

From ABC News:

“I couldn’t be more excited to join the DNC at their LGBTQ Gala this Pride season. Over the last year, the Trump-Pence administration has pushed our community to the sidelines, attacking us for who we are and who we love,” Kenworthy wrote to ABC News in a statement.

“It’s time we take a stand against this administration by electing representatives this upcoming November who actively support and believe in equality for everyone,” he said.

The seven-time world champ quite publicly skipped the White House reception for 2018 Winter Olympians last Friday along with fellow high-profile athletes Lindsey Vonn, Erin Hamlin, Adam Rippon and Chloe Kim.

At the reception, Donald Trump told attendees that watching the Paralympics was “tough to watch.” Gus was among the Olympians who clapped back at the insult.

Several Prominent Winter Olympians Won’t Be At White House Reception Today

Gus Kenworthy & Adam Rippon at Opening Ceremonies of 2018 Winter Olympics

The White House will host members of the 2018 U.S. Winter Olympic and Paralympic teams this morning but several of the bigger names from this years’ Games won’t be in attendance.

From USA Today:

Lindsey Vonn won’t be there. Neither will opening ceremony flag bearer Erin Hamlin, or Adam Rippon, or almost all of his figure skating colleagues, or Chloe Kim, or Gus Kenworthy, or Jessie Diggins, or David Wise.

Some, like Vonn, Rippon and Kenworthy in particular, have made it clear they are skipping the U.S. Olympic Committee’s White House visit because they do not want to stand with the controversial Trump, who, among other things, bragged about sexually assaulting women in a video released during the 2016 presidential campaign, mocked a disabled person during the campaign and called some white supremacists “very fine people” after the deadly Charlottesville rally.

Others have just said they are going to be, um, busy.

Rippon has a full schedule with Dancing with the Stars rehearsals even as he’s touring with “Stars On Ice.”

But it was a foregone conclusion neither he nor Kenworthy would be attending today.

Rippon told USA Today:

“I have been invited to so many incredible things, to the Human Rights Campaign dinner, the GLAAD Media Awards. I was so honored and so excited to go to those, more so than I would be to go to the White House. I feel like it was more important for me to go to those events because it’s a cause that I really believe in, it’s a message that I believe in. It’s important for me to align myself with those people who have the same ideals that I have.”
