President With Lowest Approval Ratings In History Mocks Oscars Low TV Ratings

Donald Trump

And who says irony is dead?

Donald Trump, the president with the lowest approval ratings in history, took a swipe at Hollywood by pointing out the Academy Awards’ low TV ratings with a tweet that read, “Lowest rated Oscars in HISTORY. Problem is, we don’t have Stars anymore – except your President.”

The Trumpster added a quick “just kidding, of course,” but I’m not so sure he was kidding…

New Poll: Trump Is Least-Popular First Year President In History Of The US

There’s a big lump of coal in Donald Trump’s Christmas stocking according to two new polls by the Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research.

The results show Trump is the least popular first-year president in the country’s history.

The survey shows the Trumpster’s approval rating at a dismal 32% and his disapproval rating at a sky-high 67%.

Of those polled, only 23% feel Trump has kept his campaign promises versus 45% who say he’s failed to keep them. Interestingly, 30% say he has “tried and failed.”

If you look to averaged poll results, Real Clear Politics says Trump is in the 37% approval range.

Ouch.

Note: According to Gallup, Barack Obama averaged 57.2% approval his first year as president.

Monmouth University Poll: Donald Trump Approval Rating Hit’s All-Time Low 32%

Donald Trump’s approval rating has hit an all-time low in the latest Monmouth University Poll.

The Donald’s current job rating stands at a net negative 32% approve and 56% disapprove. This marks his lowest rating in Monmouth’s polling since taking office in January.

Trump’s biggest dips come from Independent women voters.

His lack of any notable legislative achievements plus his decision to move the U.S. embassy in Israel which many feel will destabilize the Middle East were contributing factors to his declining numbers.

Previous surveys conducted over the course of the past year indicated his approval rating ranging from 39% to 43% and his disapproval rating ranging from 46% to 53%.

So. Much. Winning.

You can dive into the details here.

Poll: Trump Falls To 32% Approval Rating

And 55% are “very” or “somewhat” confident Special Counsel Robert Mueller will conduct a fair investigation.

It’s not a good day in Trump Land.

In addition to three Donald Trump advisers being indicted by special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation, and Trump’s proposed ban on transgender military service members being blocked by a federal judge, there’s more bad news for the Trumpster as the Gallup Tracking poll shows the president has hit a historic low in his approval rating in the poll.

Today’s results show Trump at a dismal 33% approval rating; his disapproval rating has shot up to 62%.

So. Much. Winning.

On this day in 2009, President Obama’s first year in the White House, his approval rating was 55% with only 40% disapproval.

NBC/Wall Street Journal Poll: Trump Hits Lowest Approval Rating Yet

NBC News reports that Donald Trump’s job approval rating has dropped to the lowest point of his presidency according to the latest NBC/Wall Street Journal poll.

Only 38% of those surveyed say they approve of Trump’s job performance indicating a 5 point decline from September.

Trump’s previous low approval rating in the same poll was 39% in May.

A whopping 58% disapprove of the job Trump is doing.

Notable drops in support show up in three key demographics in the course of just one month:

• Independents shifted from 41% approval in September to 34% now

• White voters dropped from 51% to 47%

• White voters without a college degree – and these are key for Trump – declined from 58% to 51%

Not only is this a personal low for Trump, it’s the lowest of any president in modern times at this point of their presidency.

In October of their first year in the White House, the NBC/WSJ poll showed:

• George W. Bush at 88% approval

• Barack Obama at 51% approval

• Bill Clinton at 47% approval

Presidential Approval: October Of First Year

A new CNN poll shows Donald Trump has the lowest approval rating of any president in modern history.

At a dismal 37%, Trump ranks at the bottom of the last ten presidents.

Predictably, George W. Bush, in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks, was soaring at 88%.

Obama notched a 55% approval rating as the nation was just beginning to see action after the economic crash of 2009.
