Gallup: Pope Leo XIV Most Popular Among Global/National Newsmakers

Pope Leo XIV — the first American pontiff — tops Gallup’s annual poll of top newsmakers and their popularity among 14 national and global figures.

Of the fourteen included in the poll, only two others have positive approval – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Sen. Bernie Sanders.
