Actor Guy Pearce recently told The Hollywood Reporter that even though he “wasn’t sexually assaulted or molested, I was made to feel uncomfortable” by Oscar winner Kevin Spacey during the filming of L.A. Confidential in 1997. Pearce went on to add, “He targeted me.” Well, Spacey clapped back today in a video posted to X addressing Pearce directly: “Grow up. The Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington DC was scheduled to perform a concert with the National Symphony Orchestra on May 21 as part of this year’s WorldPride 2025 program of events at the Kennedy Center. World Pride, held every two years, aims to bring together a program of events to “celebrate, educate, support and inspire.” The concert was to have been the orchestral premiere of John Bucchino’s choral work A Peacock Among Pigeons, a piece about embracing one’s uniqueness. An appeals court in California ruled a Kern County baker violated the rights of a gay couple when she refused on religious grounds to sell a cake for their wedding. The couple asked to purchase a pre-designed, generic 3-tier cake without any “gay” references or adornment.
