• Attitude: Italy is removing gay mothers from children’s birth certificates in crackdown on LGBTQ parenting. This comes as a result of Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s disapproval of same-sex couples raising children.

• NBC News: Rachel Powell, a Pennsylvania mother who was known as “Bullhorn Lady” because she used the sound amplifier to instruct Jan 6 rioters at the Capitol was convicted Tuesday of nine federal counts. #FuckedAroundFoundOut

• Legacy Admissions: A new survey of college students by Generation Lab shows 75% feel considering an applicant’s legacy status — giving applicants a leg up if they are directly related to an alumnus — is unfair.
• Twitter: Fans of Broadway star Lea Salonga managed to work their way backstage after a performance of “Here Lies Love” (they weren’t on the security list) and then wouldn’t leave until they got a selfie with her. Salonga handles this with much more grace than MANY would have.
