• Erin in the Morning: A trans couple was brutally attacked by an angry mob for using a public restroom in Bossier Parish, Louisiana. The sheriff charged them for the incident, not the mob. p.s. Louisiana does not have an anti-trans bathroom ban on the books.

Judge Rejects Trump Admin’s Bid To Dismiss Trans Military Lawsuit + More

• The Advocate: A federal judge has rejected the Trump administration’s bid to dismiss transgender Air Force troops’ retirement lawsuit.

The plaintiffs – including Master Sgt. Logan Ireland (above) –  are suing after the government unlawfully stripped them of retirement pay and benefits after promising they could leave military service with early retirement.

Report: At Least 97 January 6 Rioters Have Been Arrested On New Charges

A new study by Lawfare Media found at least 97 of the 1,500+ individuals granted clemency by Donald Trump for their participation in the violent January 6 invasion of the U.S. Capitol have been arrested, charged, or convicted of new crimes. • Deadline: Two-time Grammy winner Peabo Bryson died today after reportedly having recently suffered a stroke. He was 75.

Known for singing soulful ballads, he scored back-to-back Grammys for “A Whole New World” from Aladdin with Regina Belle and the title song from from Beauty and the Beast, a duet with Celine Dion. Rest well, Peabo Bryson.

The Justice Department has scrubbed from its website news releases about criminal cases related to the violent January 6 invasion of the U.S. Capitol, calling the prosecutions ‘partisan propaganda.’

Donald Trump wants you to know he gave up “an absolute fortune” by dropping his IRS case to pay his January 6 rioters via his new “anti-weaponization” slush fund.

“I gave up a lot of money in allowing the just announced Anti-Weaponization Fund to go forward. I could have settled my case, including the illegal release of my Tax Returns and the equally illegal BREAK IN of Mar-a-Lago, for an absolute fortune.

Justice Dept Creates $1.8 Billion Compensation Fund For J6 Rioters

Donald Trump has dropped his $10 billion lawsuit against the IRS in exchange for the Department of Justice creating a $1.776 billion “compensation fund” for his allies – including the January 6 insurrectionists he’s already pardoned.

According to an agreement by the Justice Department, the Attorney General would create a hand-picked panel of five people to oversee the distribution of $1.776 billion of taxpayer money to Trump’s supporters who say they were “targeted” by the Biden Justice Department.
