Another example of that 2020 voter fraud Donald Trump keeps talking about was apparently found in Colorado. From the Fox News affiliate KDVR in Denver:

Prosecutors have filed new charges against Barry Morphew, alleging the man accused of murdering his missing wife submitted a presidential ballot in her name. Morphew was recently arrested on charges of murdering his wife, Suzanne, after she disappeared a year ago. She still has yet to be found.

Court documents show he now faces one felony count for allegedly forging public documents and a misdemeanor mail in ballot offense. Bond has been set at $1,000 but he’s being held without bail on the murder charges.

According to the arrest affidavit, investigators responded to the Chaffee County Clerk and Recorder’s Office after the clerk made a report of alleged voter fraud in October of 2020. The clerk told investigators that they’d received a presidential ballot from Suzanne even though she was missing.

Morphew signed the ballot as the witness but didn’t include a signature for his missing wife. When asked why he submitted the fraudulent ballot, Morphew told investigators, “Just because I wanted Trump to win.”

Gattuso, a Republican, was charged after an investigation by the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office determined Gattuso allegedly voted twice in the 2020 election. • ABC News: More voter fraud – this time in Pennsylvania, and yes, he was a Republican. A criminal complaint alleges a South Park man submitted a mail-in ballot for November’s election in the name of his wife who had died seven years earlier. • Twitter: Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) on QAnon Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) calling the Parkland shooting a ‘false flag’ event: “Anyone suggesting it was fake is either deranged or a sadist.”

Rep. Cawthorn Had Nothing When Asked For ‘Concrete Evidence’ Of Voter Fraud

Hours after riling up Trump supporters at the now-infamous January 6 rally that led to the violent insurrection at the U.S. Capitol, freshman Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-NC) joined fellow House Republicans in contesting election results during the certification of the Electoral College. Cawthorn was a bit flummoxed during an appearance on CNN last night when he tried to explain his rationale for questioning the results. “The things that I was not objecting to the election on behalf of was things like Dominion voting machines changing ballots, or these U-Haul trucks pulling up filled with ballots for Joe Biden as president,” said Cawthorn. “The thing I was objecting for is things like, like I said in the state of Wisconsin, particularly in the town of Madison … there was an appointed official in that town who actually went against the will of the state legislature and created ballot drop boxes, which is basically ballot harvesting that was happening in the parks.” CNN anchor Pamela Brown pointed out that the Wisconsin issue Cawthorn brought up had been litigated in court and rejected by Trump-appointed judges. And that’s where Cawthorn found himself tossing word salads right and left. “Indeed, I believe specifically, and this is the one that I debated on behalf of on the House floor, in Wisconsin that was never heard because they dismissed it because of standing,” he added. “Now I don’t believe that is a concrete enough of a way to dismiss it.” Well, you have to have standing in order to bring a legal argument to court. That’s pretty much established…

Brown followed up asking Cawthorn for examples of ‘concrete evidence’ he’d seen of voter fraud. The 25-year-old found himself unable to cite any evidence that led him to believe there was widespread fraud. “Like I said, that’s not the reason I contested the election,” he told Brown. “So you wanted to throw out millions of votes without actually seeing any concrete evidence of fraud?” Brown asked. “Cause that’s what you were doing when you were contesting the election.” Pause, pause, pause… “I disagree with you on that point,” and again asserted his only goal had been to “hold up the Constitution.” Brown then shifted to Cawthorn’s own state of North Carolina which had also amended election laws due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But for some reason he appeared to be unaware that his own state legislators had done the same thing Wisconsin elected official had done. “I’m actually not aware of the laws that were changed inside of North Carolina,” Cawthorn replied. “I believe we had a very safe and very secure election here.” In Texas we have a saying, “All hat, no cattle.” You can watch the full exchange above or a few clips below.

Some news items you might have missed: • Instinct Magazine: Emmy Award-winner Dan Levy (above) is working on a number of new projects including a new romantic comedy that he may star in. • WeHoVille: West Hollywood’s City Council unanimously approved creating a crosswalk painted in the colors of the transgender flag on Monday night and also updating the rainbow crosswalks to add the colors brown and black to symbolize greater inclusivity. • Out Music: Out Norwegian musician Marie Ulven (aka girl in red) drops this lovely melancholy pop bop, “two queens in a king-sized bed.” Since being discovered on Soundcloud five years ago, Ulven has impressed music fans with her ethereal sound as well as her choosing to lean into her queerness.

• CNN: Donald Trump has begun issuing presidential pardons and among the recipients are former Reps. Chris Collins and Duncan Hunter. Both are Republicans, and both were the first in Congress to endorse Trump for president. • Philly Inquirer: Looks like we found that ‘voter fraud’ folks have been talking about. A man in Delaware county registered his dead mother and mother-in-law to vote using their IDs, and he then cast a mail-in ballot…..for Donald Trump. The 70-year-old admitted to casting the illegal ballot to “further the campaign of Donald Trump.” • The Herald: A wedding venue in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, – the Warehouse on Ivy – denied a same-sex couple the opportunity to hold their wedding there citing its ‘Christian values.’ North Carolina is one of 27 states with no statewide laws offering protection from discrimination against the LGBTQ community.

Fox News Anchor Calls Out ‘Baseless’ Voter Conspiracy Theories

Fox News anchor Eric Shawn had had enough of the disinformation being spread by Team Trump about the 2020 election. Watch below as he dispels myth after myth about “baseless and false” voter fraud and conspiracy theories about software being used to change votes. He also gave a shoutout to the election officials who have worked to make sure the process was fair and honest. Mind you, this followed his colleague Maria Bartiromo giving an hour of air-time to the baseless, inflammatory allegations. He aired his interview with Ben Hovland, the Trump-appointed chairman of the U.S. Election Assistance Commission, who said that the 2020 election was the most secure in history and among the best-run.

Some news items you might have missed: • GregInHollywood: So, basically, everyone became pretty smitten with CNN’s Phil Mattingly (above) as he expertly handled ballot count recaps at the famed Magic Wall. Prior to joining CNN in 2105, Mattingly was at Bloomberg News where he was a national political correspondent. • Instinct Magazine: After being attacked for having a porn past during his race for New Mexico’s House of Representatives, Roger Montoya won the race for state District 40 with 56.8 percent of the vote against his Republican opponent Justin Salazar-Torrez (who received 43.2 percent). The 59-year-old Democrat addressed the accusations and confirmed he had appeared in two adult films in the 1980s when he was 22. • Out: Bi, trans, and nonbinary folks in Norway are celebrating a huge win after the country recently expanded its penal code that previously only protected lesbian and gay people from hate speech to include gender identity and all forms of “sexual orientation.” • HuffPost: The Trump campaign’s primary source of “evidence” of ‘voting irregularities’ in Detroit apparently consists of pages of affidavits and complaints from Trump supporters about social distancing measures, and some people in the polls were wearing “Black Lives Matter” face masks and shirts. A woman named ‘Karen’ was reportedly upset she parked in the wrong place. The white Republican poll watchers appear to have been ready to treat any and all actions by election workers as nefarious criminal activity. • Pink News: Hungary has announced it will move to ban adoption by same-sex couples claiming it’s ‘become necessary’ due to the coronavirus pandemic. LGBTQ Hungarians say the changes were deliberately drafted at a time when mass protests were not possible due to the coronavirus pandemic. • Reuters: News bureau fact-checks false allegations of voter fraud in a video clip showing workers picking up mail-in ballots from ballot drop boxes in Los Angeles “after Election Day.” Some users referring to the videos allege the scene is proof of “election fraud.” Mike Sanchez, a spokesman for the L.A. County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk (RR/CC) told Reuters the ballots shown in these videos “are valid ballots and will be processed and counted in our Official Election Canvass. All vote by mail ballot drop boxes were closed and locked at 8 PM on Election Day. Ballots from all boxes throughout the County were picked up the following day.”

Twitter Flags Another Trump Tweet Urging Double Voting

After Donald Trump again urged his Twitter followers in battleground state North Carolina to vote twice, the state’s Attorney General Josh Stein reminded his constituents it’s a felony to vote twice. Twitter also blocked likes, replies, and retweets on the Donald’s tweet. By the way, if you’re going to go to the polls to ‘check on your vote,’ why not just GO VOTE? Stein’s tweet also included a link where NC voters can track their mail-in votes to make sure they are counted. Twitter tagged Trump’s tweet with a disclaimer: “This Tweet violated the Twitter Rules about civic and election integrity. However, Twitter has determined that it may be in the public’s interest for the Tweet to remain accessible.”

Trump Tells His Followers To Vote Twice

While in North Carolina yesterday, Trump suggested his supporters should commit voter fraud by attempting to vote both by mail and in person. Speaking with a local reporter, Trump said, “Let them send it in and let them go vote, and if their system’s as good as they say it is, then obviously they won’t be able to vote. If it isn’t tabulated, they’ll be able to vote… If it’s as good as they say it is, then obviously they won’t be able to vote. If it isn’t tabulated, they’ll be able to vote. So that’s the way it is. And that’s what they should do.” Voting by mail and then voting in person is exactly the kind of fraud Trump keeps screaming about and yet he’s telling his supporters to do that. I see what he thinks he means in trying to ‘test the system,’ but if any of his followers were to vote by mail and then cast a vote in person, it would be a felony. The White House walked that back today saying Trump never said what he said. White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany told Fox News this morning a bold face lie when she said “Democrats want a fraudulent system of voting.” No Democrat has ever called for such thing.

Trump Lies About Voter Fraud Again: In California Millions Vote Many Times

Speaking to a crowd in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, Trump told attendees that in California “the same person votes many times,” reviving his oft-repeated lie about voter fraud.

“In many places, like California, the same person votes many times. You probably heard about that. They always like to say ‘oh that’s a conspiracy theory,’” Trump said. “Not a conspiracy theory, folks. Millions and millions of people. And it’s very hard because the state guards their records. They don’t want to see it.”

Trump went on to congratulate West Virginia’s because “You were with me from Day One.”

It does without saying that there have been many investigations into voter fraud and not one study has found anything close to “massive voter fraud.”

Trump Supporters On Voter Fraud Claims: From “Busloads Of Illegal Voters” To “Cars Of People” Who May Have Been Legal Voters

Watch Trump supporters wiggle out of previous statements that they had personally seen “busloads” of people cross the state line from Massachusetts into New Hampshire to illegally vote.

First it’s “millions,” then it’s “busloads and busloads,” then it’s one car with Massachusetts plates and 8 people in it, then it’s “well… um…”

Then goes from “seen it myself” to “saw it on TV.”

This is truly delusional crap.
