Sunday Morning Trump Twitter Rant: “Do Something!”

Donald Trump had his predictable Twitter meltdown this morning in anticipation of actual charges coming from the Mueller/Russia investigation.

“Never seen such Republican ANGER & UNITY as I have concerning the lack of investigation on Clinton made Fake Dossier (now $12,000,000?),… the Uranium to Russia deal, the 33,000 plus deleted Emails, the Comey fix and so much more. Instead they look at phony Trump/Russia,… “collusion,” which doesn’t exist. The Dems are using this terrible (and bad for our country) Witch Hunt for evil politics, but the R’s……are now fighting back like never before. There is so much GUILT by Democrats/Clinton, and now the facts are pouring out. DO SOMETHING! All of this “Russia” talk right when the Republicans are making their big push for historic Tax Cuts & Reform. Is this coincidental? NOT!”

Donald Trump’s “Yuuuge” Twitter Following Has A LOT Of Fake/Inactive Accounts

Donald Trump and his team love to boast about his “yuuuge” social media following. Especially on Twitter.

But an analysis by SocialRank shows Trump’s following might have a “yuuuge” percentage of fake followers.

According to SocialRank:

• 10.2 million Trump followers (25.5%)  as of Oct. 10  have yet to share any content on Twitter

• 18.9 million of his followers have not shared content in more than a year

• more than 300,000 accounts following @realDonaldTrump only follow his account

• 13.7 million accounts (33%) have yet to set a profile photo (“egg accounts”) and rarely tweet – totally an indication of a fake follower

• 46% of the accounts haven’t tweeted in the past year

• 66% of the accounts haven’t tweeted in the past 90 days

• 74% of the accounts have fewer than 50 followers

Also suspicious – a huge number of Trump’s followers created their accounts after he announced his candidacy for president in June 2015:

• 56.7% of Trump’s followers, as of Oct. 9, created their accounts after Trump announced he was running for president

• 37.7% of the accounts were created after he was elected in November 2016

Noteworthy – only 6.7 % of Hillary Clinton‘s 19.2 million followers are inactive.

Trump Twitter Rant Bounces Likes A Pinball From One Subject To Another

Donald Trump has had quite the schizophrenic 12 hours on Twitter bouncing back and forth between “fake news” rants (Forbes reported his wealth dropped $600 million), attacking the latest bipartisan fix to Obamacare (he says he can’t support it), renewed attacks on Hillary Clinton and former FBI Director James Comey and another slap at kneeling NFL players.

The Trumpster must have been flipping channels a lot!

Sen. Bob Corker On Trump: “The White House Has Become An Adult Day Care Center”

Earlier this week, Sen. Bob Corker told reporters that some of Donald Trump’s closest advisers are responsible for tamping down the “chaos” in the White House.

“I think Secretary Tillerson, Secretary Mattis and Chief of Staff Kelly are those people that help separate our country from chaos,” Corker said.

So, it was clearly a matter of time before Trump would take to Twitter to lash out at the Republican senator from Tennessee who recently announced he would not seek reelection next year.

This morning Trump tweeted:

“Senator Bob Corker “begged” me to endorse him for re-election in Tennessee. I said “NO” and he dropped out (said he could not win without…..my endorsement). He also wanted to be Secretary of State, I said “NO THANKS.” He is also largely responsible for the horrendous Iran Deal! …Hence, I would fully expect Corker to be a negative voice and stand in the way of our great agenda. Didn’t have the guts to run!

Trump Is “Most Followed” Current World Leader On Twitter, Still Way Behind Obama

I’m sure Donald Trump will revel in the fact that his Twitter account has been deemed the most followed of any current world leader.

Politico has the details:

The @realDonaldTrump personal account crossed 39.7 million followers to overtake the nine different language accounts that the pope uses, making the president the most-followed world leader, according to measurements kept by public relations firm Burson-Marsteller.

Pope Francis, with 39.5 million followers at the time that Burson-Marsteller crunched the numbers, fell to second behind Trump when adding up the papal accounts that send the same messages in Spanish, English, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, Franch, Latin, German and Arabic.

Next on the world stage for Twitter followers was India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with 34.9 million followers for his official @narendramodi account, plus an additional 21.3 million followers who track the @PMOIndia prime minister’s office account.

Trump also commanded the fifth- and sixth-largest audiences among world leaders on Twitter — with 20.5 million and 15.6 million followers — on the @potus and @WhiteHouse accounts he inherited in January.

Altogether, Trump’s three accounts total 75.8 million followers – which is still way behind that of his predecessor, Barack Obama.

Obama’s @BarackObama Twitter account boasts over 95 million followers.

Trump Rants On “Russia Hoax” & “Crooked Hillary”

It’s Friday morning, so it must be time for a Trump Twitter rant.

Today it’s a renewed screed about “Crooked Hillary” and the “Russia hoax:”

The Russia hoax continues, now it’s ads on Facebook. What about the totally biased and dishonest Media coverage in favor of Crooked Hillary?

The greatest influence over our election was the Fake News Media “screaming” for Crooked Hillary Clinton. Next, she was a bad candidate!

Why be so consumed about a race he won? It must really bug him Hillary’s book is a huge bestseller.

And then a couple of “ego tweets” for good measure – one, stroking himself for Alabama Senate hopeful Luther Strange improving in the polls thanks to him, and another, a retweet indicating he’s the “most Tweeted about world leader.”

He’s the “most tweeted about” because so many people are appalled at his behavior.

GOP Rep. Chris Collins On Trump Tweets: “He’s Just A Fun Guy”

Appearing on CNN this morning, GOP Rep. Chris Collins defended Donald Trump’s over the top tweets and retweets including the infamous “golf ball hitting Hillary Clinton” meme.

“The president does have a sense of humor,” said Collins. “He’s just a fun guy.”

Uh huh. That’s it. Fun.

I call it “not befitting the office of the presidency.”

Trump Retweets GIF Of Him Hitting Hillary With Golf Ball

Donald Trump went on another of his infamous Twitter screeds Sunday morning including retweeting a gif spliced together that appeared to show him hitting Hillary Clinton in the back with a golf ball.

The original tweeter is a user whose handle is @Fuctupmind and his bio is full of pro-Trump and anti-Hillary hashtags.

“Donald Trump’s amazing golf swing #CrookedHillary,” the user wrote in the caption.

Trump’s retweet sent the Twitterverse into overdrive. Clearly, the retweet was red meat for his base, and the classlessness of the move infuriated his detractors.

The former director of the independent Office of Government Ethics, Walter Shaub Jr., who resigned in July after clashes with the president tweeted, “The man is unfit.”

Trump also took time to mock North Korea’s leader, Kim Jong Un, as “Rocketman:”

Plus a few retweets of memes that were flattering to him in an effort to stroke his ego:

Good Times: Ted Cruz Likes A Porn Tweet

The Twitterverse is all “atwitter” about Republican Sen. Ted Cruz this morning as several intrepid readers noticed that the junior senator from Texas “Liked” a pornographic tweet.

While Cruz’s communications director issued a statement saying the “Like” had been deleted, there was no explanation as to why it appeared in the first place.

Let’s face it – the simple reason would be that Cruz saw the tweet and actually did like it.

It’s all quite funny especially in light of Cruz’s holier than thou religious statements in the past, as well as his involvement in a 2007 court case in Texas about banning the use of sex toys.

Acting as solicitor general for the state of Texas, he defended the state ban on so-called “marital aids” writing, “There is no substantive due process right to stimulate one’s genitals for non-medical purposes unrelated to procreation or outside of an interpersonal relationship.”

That statement struck a lot of folks’ funny bones, particularly his former college roommate who apparently remembers Cruz enjoying some personal “stimulation” back in the day.

In any case, we all now await the certain denial from Cruz that he actually had anything to do with the porno post today. Of course he’ll say he was hacked.

UPDATE – Sen. Ted Cruz told addressed the issue with reporters on Capitol Hill this morning:

“This is not how I envisioned waking up this morning. There are a number of people on the team that have access to the account and it appears that someone inadvertently hit the like button. And when we discovered the post, which I was I guess an hour or two later, we pulled it down. We’re dealing with it internally, but it was a mistake, it was not malicious conduct.”

Barack Obama Sets Record For Most ‘Liked’ Tweet In History

This is certain to drive Donald Trump insane.

As he displayed an appalling lack of moral courage taking days to denounce the white supremacists’ violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, this past weekend, an uplifting tweet from President Obama became the most “Liked” in Twitter history.

On Saturday evening, Obama shared a Nelson Mandela quote: “No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin or his background or his religion…”

It became the tweet seen ’round the world.

At this writing, the tweet has been ‘Liked” over 3.1 million times, and retweeted by 1.2 million people.
