Woofy Matthew Camp Stars In Sex Docu-Series ‘Camp Chaos’
Actor and social media star Matthew Camp (Getting Go: The Go Doc Project; Hurricane Bianca: From Russia with Hate) stars in a 3-part sex-positive docu-series called Camp Chaos produced by Men.com.

Camp Chaos is a provocative meditation exploring formative sexual memories. The series takes on the form of a hybrid documentary / experimental film / art project. It uses explicit sex as part of the exploration of Matthew’s formative sexual memories.
Each episode will cover a distinct sexual experience from Camp’s life. He first shares the story with viewers and then sets about recreating the encounter in explicit detail with a new partner.
The series blends reality and fantasy in a way that creates what feels like a true and authentic portrayal of Matthew Camp. What you see is what you get, Camp is truly and unapologetically himself.

“I feel like it’s important as gay men that we exercise our right to want to have sex, to make content with it, and profit off it. It’s sort of a revolutionary act,” says Camp.
In February, Camp told Attitude Magazine, “It’s important to document sex because there’s nothing wrong with it, there’s nothing shameful about it and there’s nothing crazy about it. You should be able to watch sex as entertainment.”
Camp Chaos also functions as a time capsule of what gay relationships and encounters are like in a post-online dating and social media world. It is current, timely, real and treats sex the way millennials treat sex.
Camp Chaos had its world premiere at the Inside Out LGBT Film Festival in Toronto on May 31st and will be having its American premiere at Frameline International LBGT Film Festival in San Francisco on June 28th, 2019.
The first episode (a different episode from the one screening at festivals) will be available to stream on Men.com June 28th.
Camp has over 574K followers on Instagram, 65K followers on Twitter and a gigantic presence on the OnlyFans platform.
Last December, I had the chance to chat with Camp on The Randy Report podcast just as he was prepping for the new Camp Chaos project. It’s easily one of my favorite interviews to date.
An intoxicating blend of good-looking country boy with a side of danger, I found him to be thoughtful and well-spoken. It’s a disarmingly charming equation.
And his sex-positive message is something everyone should hear. So many of us are taught to be ashamed of sex instead of celebrating it.
He’s also designed his own line of t-shirt and leather gear fashions. Matthew says he took a couple of classes in construction and pattern making a few years ago for the ABCs of it all, but admits to having an interest in fashion since he was a kid.
Plus, he launched a line of provocatively named fragrances (8.5, Transgression) that are inspired by, and conjure up, his memories of working in bars around sexy men.

Matthew Camp Covers Attitude Magazine “There’s Nothing Shameful About Sex”
Former go-go dancer turned social media influencer, hunky Matthew Camp covers the new issue of Attitude Magazine.
Camp first found his spotlight at the age of 21 in the New York City club scene as a go-go dancer.
From there he landed roles in indie movies like Getting Go: The Go Doc Project (loosely based on his life) and the experimental Sock Job which sent him into a new orbit.
Today, the 34-year-old social media star is utilizing his 550,000+ followers on Instagram to fuel his creative endeavors like designing his own fashion and fragrance line as well as pump up the volume about his OnlyFans account where he can share his own sexually-based content with fans for a monthly fee.
In December, Camp told me he was preparing a new video project that delves into a person’s sexual personality by exploring formative sexual experiences from their past.
The format will be a hybrid of documentary/experimental art film.
In the new issue of Attitude Magazine, Camp explains his own vision for how, what and where he shares himself to fans.
“I’d wanted to shoot sex videos for a while because I feel there’s this divide between art and sex,” he tells Attitude. “I don’t see them as different. They’re both an emotional expression.”
“I like the OnlyFans aspect because you can curate your own, and share them with people,” he adds.
“It’s important to document sex because there’s nothing wrong with it, there’s nothing shameful about it and there’s nothing crazy about it,” says the sex-positive advocate. “You should be able to watch sex as entertainment.”
The internet sensation also points out that, “Everyone’s body is a commodity – whether they realise it or not.”
“To me, there’s no difference between somebody standing behind a cash register for 10 hours a day and another person who has sex for 10 or 20 grand a month,” explains the California-born influencer. “Who’s having more fun?”
Raising the ‘pleasure principal,’ (if you will) Camp says, “It’s about life choices, and people being indoctrinated with guilt about enjoying their life.”

NY Times: How OnlyFans Put Adult Performers In Charge Of Their Own Content

The New York Times does a deep dive today into the latest media outlet for adult content, OnlyFans.com.
As many know, the website allows fans of models or performers (insert whatever term you like) to subscribe to private content that might be too explicit for social media.
The monthly fees generally range from $5 to $20, with the performer taking an 80% cut of the monthly fees.
Along the way, the article talks to former go-go dancer and all-around hottie, Matthew Camp, about his perspective on sharing his content on the site.
“Basically, OnlyFans is online go-go dancing,” said Camp.
Ten years ago, the daddy/twink/bear/boy was making $1,000 on a good night at New York City gay clubs and events. Naturally, he caught the eye of porn studios like Lucas Entertainment.
Camp tells the Times that the idea of “having sex for money is appealing,” but he thought $1,000 or so seemed low for video clips that would live forever on the internet, dubbing him a ‘porn star’ for life.
Instead, he worked to develop a steadily growing following on the more PG-13 Instagram platform garnering well over 500,000 followers.
As the NYC gay club landscape began to dry up, he headed upstate to Hudson, New York, and opened an OnlyFans account.
Even though he would sometimes go weeks without posting new video or photo content, the 34-year-old tells the Times he was taking banking over $10,000 a month.
In addition to the regular content, OnlyFans allows private communication between the performers and fans, who can request anything from birthday wishes to specific ‘themed’ photos or video clips.
And now, Camp is branching out to another subscription-based platform by launching an online radio show via DNR Studios called “Happie Camper,” where fans can join him 3 times a week for a fee of $6.95 a month. It’s a live radio show where you can call in and ask questions as Camp chats with folks like Chris “Leave Britney Alone” Crocker and Cameron Rose.
For many of the content creators, the secret to increased success isn’t always having the most “explicit” content but being regular with posting new video or photos.
The most successful ‘fitness model’ on OnlyFans, Australian Jem Wolfe, has 10,000 fans paying $10 monthly for access to her content. But, according to the Times, she mostly “shows off her Kardashianesque proportions, squatting in really tight leggings and squeezing her breasts together, strategically covering her nipples.”
For folks who are fascinated by how the internet continues to shake up old business models and creates new ones, the Times article by Jacob Bernstein is a must-read.
Bernstein delves into topics like how web-camming led to the current OnlyFans concept, and the challenge of not having an app for OnlyFans due to the content being too racy to pass muster for app stores.
I recently covered the banning of overt sexual imagery by Tumblr because the social media platform was threatened with being dropped from app stores.
Camp explains how OnlyFans and its opportunities for one-on-one interaction with performers makes for a better experience than plain raunch.
“Tumblr was filled with the most extreme sexual experiences you could see,” Camp told the Times. “And I think a lot of people were turned off by that. It’s not what they’re looking for. They want more intimate experiences. They want a boyfriend experience. They want to fantasize about someone that they want to have sex with and not feel disgusted by it.”

I have to tell you upfront that this is one of my favorite interviews in a while.
