Hillary On Trump: He’s Always ‘Entertaining’ But Now A Little More ‘Troubling’

Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton on Donald Trump running for President 2016:

“It’s all about Entertainment, He’s having the time of his life.”

At a press conference Tuesday Hillary said she only attended his wedding because she thought it’d be entertaining.

“I didn’t know him that well. I mean, I knew him. I knew him and I happened to be planning to be in Florida, and I thought it would be fun to go to his wedding because it’s always entertaining.”

“Now that he’s running for president, it’s a little more troubling,” she added.

The first debate of the 2016 election cycle is complete, and there is no doubt that Republicans reminded Americans that their platform and stances are throwing us back into the past. Republicans are out of touch and out of date on immigration reform, women’s health, the economy, and MUCH more.

First Campaign Ads From Hillary Clinton: “Dorothy” & “Family Strong”

Hillary Clinton’s campaign shared her first campaign ads today, with a focus on the inspiration she saw in her mother, Dorothy.

The first tells the story of her mother’s journey from being abandoned as a child to inspiring her own children.

The second takes that lesson and shares how it inspired Hillary to work on children’s issues from the time she graduated law school, working for the Children’s Defense Fund instead of cashing in at a large law firm.

It’s nice to see positive campaign spots, as opposed to the attack ads we’re already seeing on the other side.

2016 – Polls, polls, and more polls

Two new NBC/Marist polls show Donald Trump continues to sit dominate the current GOP nominating process for 2016 presidential nominee.

In New Hampshire, Trump beats second placer Jeb Bush by 7 points.

Donald Trump – 21%
Jeb Bush – 14%
Scott Walker – 12%
John Kasich – 7%
Chris Christie – 6%
Ben Carson – 6%
Marco Rubio – 5%
Ted Cruz – 5%

Recently announced Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker leads in Iowa, but with Trump only 2 points behind him.

Scott Walker – 19%
Donald Trump – 17%
Jeb Bush – 12%
Ben Carson – 8%
Mike Huckabee – 7%
Rand Paul – 5%

Additionally, a new CNN/ORC poll shows 52% of Republicans want Donald Trump to stay in the race for the GOP nomination. Thirty-three percent want Trump to drop out, and 15% would like to see him make an independent run for president in 2016.

Over on the Democratic side, Hillary Clinton continues strong leads in both states, although Sen. Bernie Sanders has gained some ground in New Hampshire.

In Iowa, Hillary holds strong with a 29 point lead over Sanders.

Bernie Sanders – 26%
Martin O’Malley – 4%
Jim Webb – 2%

In New Hampshire, Sanders fares better (Sanders currently serves as U.S. senator from neighboring Vermont) but Hillary stays in the lead.

Bernie Sanders – 34%
Martin O’Malley – 5%
Lincoln Chaffee – 2%

Donald Trump Threatens Third Party Presidential Run

In an interview with The Hill, Donald Trump made clear he would seriously consider a third party run at the presidency should he not secure the GOP nomination.

“The RNC has not been supportive. They were always supportive when I was a contributor. I was their fair-haired boy,” the business mogul told The Hill in a 40-minute interview from his Manhattan office at Trump Tower on Wednesday. “The RNC has been, I think, very foolish.”

Pressed on whether he would run as a third-party candidate if he fails to clinch the GOP nomination, Trump said that “so many people want me to, if I don’t win.”
“I’ll have to see how I’m being treated by the Republicans,” Trump said. “Absolutely, if they’re not fair, that would be a factor.”

Recent polls involving Hillary Clinton, Jeb Bush and Trump indicate Hillary winning with 46%, Bush 30% and Trump 20%.

Jeb Bush Says Americans Should Work Longer Hours – Hillary Clinton Thinks Americans Already Work Hard

Hillary Clinton tweeted this out in response to GOP presidential nominee Jeb Bush, who suggested that his plan to improve the economy included having working middle-class Americans work longer hours.

In an interview with the New Hampshire newspaper The Union Leader, Bush said, “My aspiration for the country and I believe we can achieve it, is 4 percent growth as far as the eye can see. Which means we have to be a lot more productive, workforce participation has to rise from its all-time modern lows. It means that people need to work longer hours.”

Hillary thinks Americans are already hard working.

If you look at the graph above, worker productivity has been on a steady climb for decades. It’s stagnation in the wages earned that’s affecting the economy.

Folks are working and producing just fine. It’s businesses making money and not passing on even a small portion of the rising profits to the average worker that’s the problem.

As the saying goes, “A rising tide should lift all boats.”

Rush Limbaugh Calls Young Gay “Human Of New York” Photo Phony

Rush Limbaugh, apparently upset that Hillary Clinton opted to be supportive to a young gay in NYC who’s photo went viral this past weekend on the Humans of New York Facebook page, says the whole episode is phony.

From his rapidly declining radio show yesterday:

LIMBAUGH: Where the Clintons are concerned, there are no coincidences with the Clintons. There just aren’t any. And I feel very confident and safe speculating that this whole thing is as phony as it gets. We’re supposed to believe a photographer walking the streets of New York City sees this kid crying on his stoop, then takes his picture? And then the kid says to the photographer, ‘I’m crying about my future because I’m gay and I’m really worried about my future and I don’t think I’m going to be loved and it’s going to be really hard out there.’ The kid looks like he’s 8 or 9. You know who the kid looks like? The kid looks like the kid that was in the gay pride parade last week — picture we showed, his mom proudly had him out there dressed up in some kind of rainbow colored drag queen get-up with a Roman crown of whatever on his head. This kid looks exactly like that kid. I’m not saying it’s the same kid. I’m just saying that’s what this 8-year-old looks like… Anyway, it’s just a little too convenient.
