Funny: ‘Bad Boy’s Daddy Issues’

Artie O’Daly in ‘Bad Boy’s Daddy Issues’
Artie O’Daly shares the latest installment of his wild and wacky ‘Bad Boys’ web series. In the episode (titled ‘Bad Boy’s Daddy Issues’), Scott (played by O’Daly) comes home from the gym and is surprised to find Jim (Drew Canan) preparing for an impromptu memorial service for his dead father who was the victim of an apparent wood chipper incident. Jim’s Aunt Whitney (Theresa Ryan) barges in and immediately becomes obsessed with Scott’s short shorts setting up a series of butt crack bits. Jim’s ‘best brah’ James (Alex Dyon) arrives for the memorial service as we find out the dead dad looks a whole lot like Nick Jonas. #NotMadAtThat But as Jim begins his tribute it seems the only memories he has of his dad involve felonies, child abandonment, and orange chicken. #GoodTimes

James reminisces about the time he peeked at the dad naked in the shower: “And that’s when I knew that I was going to be ‘gay for pay.’” Turns out James is a ‘brah-stitute,’ which is totally not a prostitute because he only charges $50 (although he offers Scott a senior discount at $40). When Scott tries to point out that Jim clearly has daddy issues, Jim disagrees: “What kind of issues would I have because of my dad? I feel like a kid, I like older men, and I have a daddy. Like, I’m all set.” Eventually, the bad boys flip the script on Scott and confront him about his own ‘daddy issues.’ But don’t worry, we don’t get mired in anything deep as soon there are suggestions for wrestling in pudding and a group rinse-off. Group hug in Bad Boy's Daddy Issues If it all sounds absurd, that’s because it is. Between the sharp, rapid-fire dialogue, Scott’s short-shorts, the eccentric characters plus the requisite shot of Jim shirtless, it all adds up to a brief yet worthy escape from the madcap world we’re living in today. Dolly Parton Gets Sassy With RuPaul

Dolly Parton chats with RuPaul in a new Marie Claire interview
In a new interview with the iconic Dolly Parton for Marie Claire, RuPaul asked the diva about some of the more mundane aspects of her day like how many hours of sleep she gets and cooking some biscuits and gravy for breakfast. The Emmy Award-winning Drag Race host inquired if the country superstar cooks in high heels to which Dolly replied, “I always wear my high heels. Don’t you?” RuPaul answered, “No. That’s the thing: There are similarities in what we do, but I take all that stuff off.” But Dolly had a different view:

“I have to always stay ready – street ready, I always say. I have to keep my makeup on and keep my hair done. Like, when I’m in LA – I’ve told you about it – if it’s going to earthquake, if we get an earthquake, I’m not running out in the street looking like you look now.”

Like. You. Look. Now. LOL…Of course, Dolly wasn’t being ugly. That’s just not in her character. It’s a fun interview as Dolly is promoting her new holiday album, A Holly Dolly Christmas, and her new Netflix Christmas movie, Christmas on the Square. Read the full chat over at Marie Claire.

Meme Of The Day: Fake But Funny…

A fake Twitter exchange shows Donald Trump tweeting, "If Biden somehow manages to win this election, you won't see me again, I'll simply leave the country." A response from Canada's Twitter account reads, "Our border is closed, Over to you, Mexico... ;)" My favorite meme of the day – and yes, it’s fake but pretty funny. It is, however, based on remarks made by Trump during a campaign rally in Macon, Georgia last month. Trump told the crowd he might have to “leave the country” if he were to lose to now-President-elect Joe Biden. “You know what, running against the worst candidate in the history of presidential politics puts pressure on me. Could you imagine if I lose, my whole life, what am I gonna do? I’m gonna say, I lost to the worst candidate in the history of politics. I’m not gonna feel so good. Maybe I’ll have to leave the country. I don’t know.”

Reddit asks ‘What’s The Worst Sex-Ed Advice You Got In School?’

(images via Depositphotos)
A recent thread on reddit asked folks to chime in with “the worst sex-ed advice you received at school?” A lot of comments shared how little sex education was actually offered in their schools with many hailing the saving grace of the Google – “Thank God for the internet, seriously I don’t know what I would have done.” Abstinence made several appearances in the thread:

• “Don’t have sex or your penis will fall off.”

• “If you have sex, you will get gonorrhea, and you will die.”

• “Haha, we had an hour and a half long lecture about abstinence, in high school.

• “Virginity is like a handkerchief. If you let some boy sneeze in it, do you think anyone else would want to use it?”

Of course, masturbation was a big topic:

• “Masturbation elongates your penis. Half of my class was just tugging their slugs for the rest of that afternoon.”

• “When I was homeschooled, my mom told me that masturbating caused cancer because you’d be too aggressive to your ballsack due to ‘the motion.’ I feel bad for my father now.”

• “In seventh grade we had a speaker come talk to the whole school in the auditorium. This motherf**ker told us that if we pleasured ourselves, we were statistically much more likely to be rapists and pedophiles. Every guy in that room including myself felt instantly ashamed. F**k that guy.”

Condom use was addressed from several angles:

• “Condoms are worthless so don’t bother.”

• “Wrap it twice, just as nice.”

“What you do is you put one on and then ad hot-sauce and then put on the other one. You will notice if one of them breaks.”

Not quite advice, but one Redditor did share a fascinating sex ed ‘factoid’ we’ve never heard:

• “My sex ed teacher told us, ‘Ejaculate is the whitest substance on Earth.'”

Several remembered getting a sex ed/morality lesson using two pieces of tape, like this one:

• “My teacher took two pieces of tape and stuck them to her sleeves. She would then peel them off and re-stick them to her sleeves getting the backside of the tape more linty each time. She said that the pieces of tape were people and every time she put them on her sleeve it represented them having sex with a different person. Eventually, when she put them together, they didn’t stick very well from all shirt fibers and this meant they were so emotionally disconnected they couldn’t form a lasting bond. So don’t have sex or you’ll be a broken shell of a person unable to love.”

And then there are these random thoughts:

• “They didn’t tell us u need to use lube. They just said it’ll work out some way. Fun story: I’m gay sooooooo yeah, that hurt… Like, really really bad.”

• “That lubricants are not needed ‘if the man is doing his job right.'”

• “Not school but my mom told me that anal could get somebody pregnant. But since I’m gay this doesn’t matter.”

• “I was homeschooled. All my dad told me was “you stick it in, you jizz, then it’s over..” Thanks, dad.”

• “It was unsolicited sex advice from a psych TA. ‘Don’t go into dark alleys because you WILL end up having sex in there.’ With whom? No freaking idea. Maybe the weird alley sex goblins.”

• “We were told that a wet dream produced an amount of fluid tantamount to wetting the bed. They didn’t even tell us what fluid it was.”

• “That men had to be circumcised before having sex or the foreskin would rip, leading to all kinds of infections, permanent injury, or even death.”

• “‘Men are completely incapable of controlling themselves.’ Made it sound to everyone like we had no control over our bodies, thoughts, or actions, and that we spray urine and semen at everything that crosses our path.”

Funny: Donald Trump Interviews Donald Trump

How To Flirt Even With A Face Mask

Dr. Andrew Neighbors (screen capture)
Living in the current COVID-19 world, funnyman Michael Henry has been working on a solution to his one big issue with wearing face masks: how to flirt. And the answer is? Becoming a ‘winker.’ Sitting appropriately socially distanced in the park, Henry explains his new technique to hunky optometrist Andrew. “I’m a big smiler, and guys can’t see how sweet and sensual I am with these masks on – look,” says Henry as be breaks into a dead corpse state. Yeah, that isn’t going to get it done.
Michael Henry (screen capture)
The problem for Henry is he “gives off a lot of social cues ‘orally.'” Read that however you like… Andrew’s not convinced, though, in part because he thinks winking is “creepy.” “It’s not!” insists Henry. “It’s friendly – it’s flirtatious – it’s coy – it’s CONFIDENT!” Andrew: “I feel like when guys wink at me it just means they want to f$%k me.” Henry: “Yeah, that too. I want guys to know I’m DTF…but also coy and confident.” Cue the slow-motion demonstration. #creepy

Asking the obvious, Andrew wonders why Henry doesn’t just say hello to guys. “Cause that’s not coy – AND I’M COY!,” insists a demur Henry before adding, “ And I’m DTF.” Andrew still isn’t convinced but it turns out he has his own issue the approach: he’s wink-challenged. But that’s alright because Andrew has figured out his own way to break the ice and let guys know he’s DTF that usually works. p.s. it works Hit the play button to see Andrew’s solution (which also tends to bring out the Gay Bottom Mafia). By the way, this post is actually a twofer because – in case you noticed – the hottie Andrew is totally InstaHunk worthy, so head over to his Instagram account where 337K people check in on the good doctor and self-described ‘wizard.’ Happy Hump Day!

Donald Trump Wants To Ban TikTok And We Know Why

Comedian Sarah Cooper on TikTok (screen capture)
Donald Trump told reporters on Friday he’s looking at banning the popular social media site TikTok. “As far as TikTok is concerned we’re banning them from the United States,” Trump told members of the press traveling with him. “I have that authority. I can do it with an executive order or that,” he said referring to emergency economic powers. I’m not sure a president can ban a social media platform as it could fall under 1st Amendment Free Expression, but, hey… Vanity Fair believes comedian Sarah Cooper’s rise to fame on the video platform could be the reason Trump’s ticked at the Tok.

Earlier this month, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said the U.S. was looking at banning TikTok as well as other Chinese social media apps, citing national security concerns. Pompeo added that the Trump administration was evaluating TikTok as it has with other Chinese state-backed tech companies like Huawei and ZTE, which he has previously described as “Trojan horses for Chinese intelligence.”

But are national security concerns really behind Trump’s sudden pronouncement? Or is there another reason why the president wants to ban TikTok? Social media had their own answer: It’s all about Sarah Cooper.

Cooper, of course, is the actress and comedian who has come to Internet fame by posting videos of her lip-syncing Trump’s speeches and interviews to hilarious effect, whether it’s him denying he retreated to the White House bunker because of a threat posed by protestors, dodging a question about what his favorite Bible phrases are, or, most memorably, recreating his now-famous “People, woman, man, camera, TV” interview.

With more than half a million followers on TikTok, Cooper has been written up by The Hollywood Reporter, The Washington Post and The New York Times and appeared as a guest on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon and The Ellen Show. (“You make me so happy,” Degeneres said). A profile in the Times of London was headlined: “How Sarah Cooper’s Trump Takedowns Made Her America’s New Comedy Hero.”

Funny: What If We Call Them ‘Genital Release’ Parties Instead?

L-R Arisce Wanzer, Clayton Froning (screen captures)
Funny guy Michael Henry’s latest quick bite of ‘things that make you go hmm’ dives into the right or wrong of so-called “gender reveal parties.” The clip opens with Henry and Arisce Wanzer out in the park getting their vitamin D (apparently the only “D” Henry is getting these days) and discussing whether or not glory holes actually constitute social distancing. But Clayton stops to chat as he’s heading to his sister’s Zoom ‘Gender Reveal’ party. Cue the turned-up noses and disdainful string of “honeys” from Wanzer and Henry. “Queer people don’t love those,” shares Henry as Wanzer adds, “The trans community especially.” So, what’s wrong with gender reveal parties?  First, our sun-worshippers explain that gender and sex aren’t the same things. “Gender is the way you perceive yourself or the way you want other people to perceive you – boy, girl, or somewhere in the mix,” says Henry. “Sex refers to the biological and chromosomal difference between males and females,” adds Wanzer.
Michael Henry (screen capture)
Next, the dynamic duo notes that gender reveal party themes – like “wheels or heels,” “ruffles or rifles” – reinforce outdated gender roles for kids and how those social constructs can lead to negative labels on the way to adulthood. Scratching his head, Clayton says, “Wow, that’s a LOT to take in.” Wanzer agrees, “God I miss saying that.” Folks in the comments section of the YouTube page wonder if “genital release party” would be a better term for the events. Although that sounds like what gay men do on a date already, so there’s that… Hit play and see if you think Team Henry is overthinking the issue or putting it all in perspective.
