A Florida man is accused of groping a female passenger while on a flight Sunday from Houston to Albuquerque and later telling authorities that the president of the United States “says it’s OK to grab women by their private parts.”
Bruce Michael Alexander, 49, of Tampa made his initial appearance in federal court Monday in Albuquerque on a charge of abusive sexual contact. It wasn’t immediately clear if he had an attorney.
According to a criminal complaint, a woman told authorities the man behind her touched her twice and that she told him to stop and asked to change seats.
Before boarding Marine One at the White House earlier today, Donald Trump responded to a question about the outcry regarding the proposed ‘redefining’ of sex by the Department of Health and Human Services that would virtually erase 1.4 million transgender Americans, that he’s “protecting everybody.”
“We’re looking at it, we have a lot of different, ahhhhh…concepts right now,” said Trump. “They have a lot of different things happening with respect to transgender right now – you know that as well as I do.”
When asked about his promise during the 2016 campaign to protect LGBT people, Trump responded, “I’m protecting everybody. I want to protect our country.”

• Donald Trump is reportedly distancing himself from Republicans possibly losing the House after the midterm elections telling friends privately, “These are their elections … and if they screw it up, it’s not my fault.”
• Scientists have invented a ‘self-lubricating’ condom. The surface contains polymers that capture moisture from water and bodily fluids, trapping liquids on the condom for a consistently slippery feel.
• Some states are reporting higher than usual early voting in the midterm elections with Democrats outpacing Republicans which could signal a “blue wave.” Las Vegas reported the first day turnout was triple that of the last midterm elections.
• Upcoming pop recording artist, LIVVIA, recently released her first official single, “Damn,” and has already garnered almost half a million views on YouTube in only two weeks.
In addition to creating some hooky pop music, LIVVIA also put in the time and effort to graduate this past Spring from the prestigious University of California, Berkeley with a degree in Economics.

Pop star Paula Abdul recently headed out on the road for her first concert tour, titled “Straight Up Paula,” in years.
Unfortunately, the 56-year-old dancer and singer accidentally fell off the stage on Saturday night while performing her song “The Promise of a New Day” in Biloxi, Mississippi.
“She did not seem hurt at the time of the fall and still finished like a champ,” the fan who posted the video tells PEOPLE. “She stated she was a dancer, and falls and drops she has gotten used to over the years.”

NewsChannel 5 in Nashville, Tennessee, reports that a disturbing flyer with an image of a gun has been sent to at least several gay bars in the city.
Melvin Brown, owner of the bar Stirrup, told the local news channel he received the flyer in his mail last Thursday.
The flyer depicts the letters “LGBT” but instead of representing ‘lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender,’ above each letter are images of the Statue of Liberty, a gun, a beer bottle and Donald Trump.
On the back of the flyer was a stamp of the word MAGA, the common Trump campaign slogan ‘Make America Great Again,’ and a return address that led reporters to a vacant lot in downtown Nashville.
“When you put a picture of an assault riffle on there, which was used in the Pulse shooting, and you mail it to every LGBT bar in Nashville – that is coming from a hateful place,” said Brown. “To say that it’s disturbing is an understatement.”
The flyer, which some are calling ’targeted hate mail,’ didn’t mention or appear to be associated with any particular political campaign, but Brown says he believes it was inspired by the midterm elections.
“The midterms are right around the corner and I think somebody is trying to incite a reaction,” Brown added.
At least four gay bars in the Nashville area have reported receiving the flyer.
Donald Trump says that he and Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz have buried the animosity of the 2016 Republican primary as he heads to Texas today.

“Revelation,” the hauntingly beautiful single from the soundtrack of the upcoming movie Boy Erased, has been released and it’s everything you want it to be.
The film, based on the memoir by Garrard Conley, is the true story of one young man’s struggle to find himself while being forced to question every aspect of his identity.
Boy Erased tells the story of Jared (Hedges), the son of a Baptist pastor in a small American town, who is outed to his parents (Kidman and Crowe) at age 19. Jared is faced with an ultimatum: attend a conversion therapy program – or be permanently exiled and shunned by his family, friends, and faith.
The track, a collaboration between Australian pop star Troye Sivan (who’s also featured in the movie) and Icelandic musician Jónsi (best known for Sigur Rós), is a sensitive and touching ballad.

During a recent tour stop in New York City where he performed the song live, Sivan shared that the evolution of the song was inspired by a scene in the film.
“It’s this one moment of relief in the film.,” says Sivan. “It’s this one really sweet, tender moment where Jared does something that I would consider pure and beautiful and normal and romantic.”
“He has that experience and the sky doesn’t fall down on him,” he explains. “The world doesn’t come crashing down, and it’s a ‘revelation’ to him. That person that he was with is a revolution to him, and it was just so inspiring. So, we started with these lyrics of ‘you’re a revelation, you’re a revolution’.”

A new CNN poll is energizing Florida Democrats as two of their top candidates are beginning to pull out significant leads.
The CNN poll, conducted Tuesday through Saturday, shows Tallehasse Mayor Andrew Gillum garnering support from 54% of likely voters versus 42% for Republican Rep. Ron DeSantis.
In the U.S. Senate race, CNN shows incumbent Democrat Sen. Bill Nelson leading current Florida Republican Gov. Rick Scott among likely voters, 50% to 45%.
RealClearPolitics’ average of polls shows Gillum leads DeSantis by an average of 3.7%, and Nelson has an average 2.4% lead over Scott.
So, this is by no means a done deal. Make sure you get out and vote, folks.

The Food & Drug Administration’s Commissioner, Dr. Scott Gottlieb, on October 11 noting that “there are no e-liquid products approved to contain prescription drugs or any other medications that require a doctor’s supervision.”
“Prescription drugs are carefully evaluated and labeled to reflect the risks of the medications and their potential interactions with other medicines, and vaping active drug ingredients is an ineffective route of delivery and can be dangerous,” added Gottlieb. “There are no e-liquids that contain prescription drugs that have been proven safe or effective through this route of administration.”
The FDA reportedly tested HelloCigs e-liquids and found tadalafil (Cialis) and/or sildenafil (Viagra) in the products.
According to , the FDA has threatened HelloCig with “civil money penalties, criminal prosecution, seizure, and/or injunction” if HelloCig didn’t recall the products within 15 days.
Not only is it dangerous to put controlled drugs in products folks just buy at will, but think how this could impact young people thinking its “cool” to play with these drugs.
Gottlieb declared last month that vaping among young people has “reached nothing short of an epidemic proportion of growth.”
“I use the word epidemic with great care,” he wrote. “E-cigs have become an almost ubiquitous – and dangerous – trend among teens.”
It’s also worth noting that when folks are vaping, its a kind of casual puff here, puff there. How would you even know how much Viagra or Cialis you’re putting in your system? Next thing you know, you find yourself sitting in an emergency room with an erection that won’t go down.
Folks, there’s nothing wrong with using erectile dysfunction drugs. Just do it safely.
Jack and Jace Grafe, who live in Georgia, recently shared their amazing journey as identical twins who came out to each other as transgender and transitioned together.
Fox5Atlanta recently reported the story of the twins who were identified as female at birth, but came out to each other at the age of 15. That was just a year after they had even heard the word ‘transgender.’
“It’s like being in prison except it’s in your own body,” Jack told Fox5Atlanta. “And the older I got, the harder it was to swallow. And I was like, can’t do this for the rest of my life, I just can’t do it.”
Both men admit the fear of coming out was huge, but having a twin going through the same experience provided incredible emotional support.
“Fear is like the biggest thing to keep you away from anything,” Jack says. “That’s what kept me in my box.”
“I feel like we’ve saved each other from a lot of really dark and depressing moments,” added Jace. “Sometimes, I wonder if he wasn’t here, if I would have been by myself, if I would have had suicidal thoughts. I’m not saying I would have, but it’s very possible. I would have been most definitely alone.”
Study after study has shown that transgender teens are much more likely to face high instances of anxiety, depression and suicidal thoughts.
Even though they came out to each other at 15-years-old, the two continued to present as female until they graduated from high school. “But as soon as I got out of there, I cut my hair, and I changed my clothes,” Jace says.
Both men are in long-term relationships and work as corrections officers in East Georgia. Looking to begin careers in law enforcement, Jace has already begun study at the police academy and Jack plans to follow in his footsteps.

It wasn’t until they reached the age of 21 that they began giving each other male hormone injections which deepened their voices and made their appearance more masculine.
And in August of this year, the twins underwent top surgery on the same day which removed excess breast tissue and contoured their chests for a more masculine shape.
The twins turned to Georgia Plastic Surgery’s Dr. Sheldon Lincenberg for the final step in their transition.
Dr. Lincenberg told Fox5Atlanta that the surgery helps both Jace and Jack to look the way they feel inside – male.
“Their identity is set inside themselves,” Dr. Lincenberg says. “They’re not trying to change that. They just want the world to see them as they are.”
Thanks to the gender-confirming survey, the twins were able to obtain new driver’s licenses that identify their gender as male.
“It’s real now, it’s official,” Jack says. “It’s like the biggest relief you could ever feel.”
“It’s perfect to me, I’m finally perfect to me,” added Jace. “I’m just excited to finally go out there and be exactly what I’ve been dreaming about for a long time.”
