Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) announced he “awarded” more than $28 million earlier this week to “expand semiconductor manufacturing” in the Sunshine State. What he failed to mention is the funds he “awarded” came from the federal CHIPS and Science Act passed by a Democratic controlled Congress and signed into law by President Biden.
