Judge Aileen Cannon has dismissed the classified documents case against Donald Trump ruling that the appointment of the special counsel, Jack Smith, violated the Constitution. The indictment charges Trump with illegally holding onto a large number of highly sensitive government documents after he left office and refusing numerous requests to return them. Donald Trump was escorted off the stage at a campaign rally this afternoon in Butler, Pennsylvania, after a series of popping sounds were heard. Trump quickly jumped to the ground and was covered by Secret Service agents. UPDATE: CNN reports the shooter was killed by the Secret Service. One spectator at the rally was also killed.
