A federal judge has ordered the Office of Personnel Management to rescind directives that launched the mass firing of probationary government workers in numerous agencies across the government. The Department of Defense issued its new military policy on Wednesday banning all transgender people who are living as themselves from joining or continuing to serve in the military. Under the policy, transgender U.S. service members will be separated from the military within the next two months unless they receive an exemption. Hodges, the 2015 ruling that established marriage equality nationwide. It’s worth mentioning the resolution has no force of law. • CBS News: Meanwhile over in Michigan, state Rep. Josh Schriver (R) has joined the trend introducing a similar resolution. With a Democratic majority in the state Senate, it won’t pass. Two sources tell the Washington Post that the U.S. and Ukraine have agreed to a framework for a minerals deal wherein Ukraine would jointly develop their mineral resources (including oil and gas) with help from the U.S. The new deal would reportedly allow 50% of future proceeds from new mineral projects to go into a fund controlled by the U.S. but for only investing in Ukrainian projects.
