DMV Software Glitch Led To 400 Noncitizens Voting In NJ

Voting

Approximately 400 noncitizens voted in New Jersey after some 6,600 residents were improperly registered to vote between June 2023 and June 2024, due to a software glitch at the Department of Motor Vehicles.

The mistake led to fewer than 400 noncitizen votes being cast — about 0.005% of all votes cast in the state during that period.

Tyler Getchell sentenced to 7 years in prison for shooting and paralyzing his gay neighbor

• LGBTQ Nation: Tyler Getchell (above), a 30-year-old Florida man who shot and paralyzed his 24-year-old LGBTQ neighbor after months of harassment pleaded guilty to attempted manslaughter and will now face seven years in prison.

Gay FBI Employee Sues After Being Fired Over Pride Flag

David Maltinsky is suing the FBI after being fired for displaying a Pride flag the Bureau gave him.

David Maltinsky served the FBI for 16 years and received awards for supporting equality.

Donald Trump was booed by soccer fans today at the beginning of the World Cup final between Spain and Argentina.

Just after Jennifer Hudson performed the National Anthem, Trump appeared on the screen and a wave of boos erupted from the crowd.

More On Gay Cruise Turned Away By Turkey & Egypt

With my Atlantis Cruise buddies in Mykonos

It was a bit of a “working vacation” these past two weeks while on my Atlantis cruise of the Mediterranean…

After our cruise ship, the Scarlet Lady, was turned away from Turkey and then Egypt, the incidents garnered international headlines.

One new bit of info I just recently learned – it was the Egyptian Navy that intercepted our ship shortly after midnight on July 9 and ordered our captain to turn away from Egyptian waters.

Nothing Burger: Trump’s Election Speech Falls Flat

Donald Trump addressed the country last night lying across multiple topics, including rehashing his favorite conspiracy theories and renewing attacks on trans people and immigrants.

While Trump said his much-ballyhooed speech was about “building” confidence in U.S. elections, he actually spent most of his address undermining them.
