“The time has come to do the Rumba with the great @KRihanoff on @bbcstrictly #gottobesexy #bumtuckedin,” Ben Cohen wrote on Facebook before his third appearance on the hit TV show “Strictly Come Dancing.”
From NorthHamptonNews: Ben Cohen produced a raunchy rhumba on Strictly Come Dancing for Love Week.
He won unanimous praise for his dance in a dress shirt and undone bow tie to Adele’s Make You Feel My Love and his performance with Kristina Rihanoff earned a standing ovation.
The pair scored straight sevens from the four judges, giving him 28 points an improvement of three on last week’s 25 for the waltz.
Judge Craig Revel Horwood said: “I want to love you too my darling. I’m willing you to do well and dance well, and you know what, you did.”

OUT has a disarmingly honest and self-assured interview with LGBT ally and movie star Josh Hutcherson.
Just a bit of what Josh shares over a lunch with OUT:
We’ve barely started lunch, and I’m nowhere near my usual open-ended sexuality question, when Josh Hutcherson offers this: “I would probably list myself as mostly straight.”
That “mostly” is what makes Hutcherson winningly uninhibited, but also typical of his generation. New research published in The New York Times in 2010 shows that an increasing number of guys his age identify as “mostly straight,” and Hutcherson’s ease in embracing ambiguity over neat and secure boxes speaks to his self-assurance.
“Maybe I could say right now I’m 100% straight,” he says. “But who knows? In a fucking year, I could meet a guy and be like, Whoa, I’m attracted to this person.”
Hutcherson seems delighted by the complicated nature of human sexuality, but he doesn’t take sex too seriously—“Sometimes the rhythm isn’t right or you’re trying to make a new position work and it really doesn’t, and you have to laugh”—and isn’t allergic to oversharing. Of nude photos it’s rumored he posted to a dating site, he shrugs off any comment except to say, “I find it so shocking still that nakedness is so shocking.”
He definitely doesn’t understand judgmental attitudes toward gay people, which is why he cofounded Straight But Not Narrow, a youth organization that focuses on arming allied kids with the confidence and tools they need to speak out against homophobia. “Sometimes it’s frustrating to comprehend how people are not OK with it. If you can try to tell me how it’s hurting you, you’re crazy. You’re absolutely crazy. Like, what do you mean it’s not natural? Even if—even if, which, I disagree, but even if—why the fuck do you care?”

Currently playing for AS Carcassonne in the South of France, rugby star Stuart Reardon is smart, funny and has a heart.
Outspoken about Russia’s recent anti-gay laws, Reardon thinks going to the Games would make a bigger statement than boycotting: “What’s happened over there is disgusting,” Reardon tells Gay Times magazine. “If I was a gay athlete I think it would send a stronger message to go. Being in the public eye, you have a wider opportunity to voice your opinion to a wider audience and send a positive message. That would make more of an impact than boycotting.”
Oh, and he’s pretty easy on the eyes also 🙂

Barilla may be trying to “apologize” – but competitor Bertolli is jumping right in with a message of inclusiveness for all pasta lovers.
Via AdWeek:
Barilla is struggling enough this week without its competitors piling on. But Bertolli doesn’t care.
Seizing on comments made by Barilla’s chairman about how the company would never put gay couples in its advertising, Bertolli Germany quickly posted pro-gay imagery in its social feeds, happily taking advantage of its rival’s misstep.
“Love and pasta for all!” reads the caption on the Facebook photo above.
“We just wanted to spread the news that Bertolli welcomes everyone, especially those with an empty stomach,” a rep for Orca im Hafen, Bertolli’s social-media agency in Germany, tells AdFreak.
The Human Rights Campaign will honor singer-actress Jennifer Lopez with the 2013 Ally for Equality Award next month for her “commitment to better the lives of LGBT people.”
“Jennifer Lopez embodies the spirit of an ally to the LGBT community and we are thrilled to present her the Ally for Equality at our National Dinner in October,” Human Rights Campaign President Chad Griffin said in a statement.
The award is meant for “allies” outside the LGBT community who stand up on behalf of equality for all Americans, a press release stated.
“For years, Jennifer Lopez has been vocal about her love for the LGBT community, from her outspoken support for marriage equality, to the millions of dollars she’s raised for HIV/AIDS research and her efforts on behalf of bullying and youth anti-violence causes,” the press release reads.
Miss Lopez currently produces the ABC Family channel’s hit TV series “The Fosters,” about a multiethnic family mix of foster and biological children being raised by two moms.
“Throughout her career, Jennifer Lopez has always stood for fairness, justice and equality, and that’s what being an ally is all about,” Mr. Griffin added.
This year’s HRC dinner is a sold-out event for about 3,400 guests on Oct. 5 at the Washington Convention Center.

Do you like game shows for the “winning excitement?” Let’s cut right to the chase.
Just graduated from Columbia Law School, this grad is already able to pay off his student loans.
Andrew Kravis is a public interest lawyer about to start a fellowship at Lambda Legal, the nation’s oldest and largest legal organization working for LGBT civil rights. He was honored upon graduating from CLS as one of two students “who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in the furtherance of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender rights.”
Last night, he dramatically won $2.6 million on NBC’s new show “Million Second Quiz.” The winnings were originally about $2.3 million, but Ryan Seacrest just rounded it up to make it a record win!
I don’t know if Andrew is gay or just gay friendly, but this was pretty cool to watch.
NFL Hall of Famer Steve Young and his wife Barbara addressed LGBT Mormons at a conference in Utah yesterday asking them to be patient as the Mormon Church evolves to greater acceptance of gays and lesbians:
“More and more people are opening their hearts every day,” Barbara Young said at the 2013 International Affirmation Conference at the University of Utah, The Salt Lake Tribune reports. “You are teaching them about [gays] and Jesus and that his love is infinite.”
Steve Young, a former San Francisco 49ers quarterback and a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, said he seeks, “to build bridges with my gay brothers and sisters. We need to see each other as Jesus sees us.”
