Stuart Reardon on the cover of Gay Times Magazine

Currently playing for AS Carcassonne in the South of France, rugby star Stuart Reardon is smart, funny and has a heart.

Outspoken about Russia’s recent anti-gay laws, Reardon thinks going to the Games would make a bigger statement than boycotting: “What’s happened over there is disgusting,” Reardon tells Gay Times magazine. “If I was a gay athlete I think it would send a stronger message to go. Being in the public eye, you have a wider opportunity to voice your opinion to a wider audience and send a positive message. That would make more of an impact than boycotting.”

Oh, and he’s pretty easy on the eyes also 🙂
