Word is Channing Tatum is planning on bringing his own male revue, inspired by his hit movie Magic Mike, to Las Vegas.

And it looks like the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino may land the new production.

Tatum was in Las Vegas for a long weekend, in the company of what appeared to be executives. It was reported here that he was spotted having lunch with a group on Monday at Spago inside the Forum Shops at Caesars.

Then the plot thickened when he showed up Monday at the Hard Rock, with men in suits and, according to a spy, a top Hard Rock executive.

Magic Mike was a huge Hollywood success, with a global gross of $167 million based on an investment of $7 million.

The sequel – Magic Mike XXL – is currently filming under the direction of Gregory Jacobs. Most of the original cast – including Tatum, Joe Manganiello, Matt Bomer and Alex Pettyfer – are returning.

Magic Mike XXL is scheduled for release Summer 2015.

Joe Manganiello Accepts the HRC 2014 Ally For Equality Award

Joe Manganiello accepts the 2014 HRC Ally For Equality Award

True Blood/Magic Mike star and longtime LGBT ally Joe Manganiello accepted the Human Rights Campaign 2014 Ally for Equality Award last weekend.

From Joe’s comments accepting the award:

You know I never set out to be an advocate, I’m simply a person who believes in equality for everyone. And I’m a person who believes in standing up for his friends.

And if I’m being completely honest, there’s a small part of me that felt weird about accepting an award just because I think that everyone should be treated the same – that each individual be allowed the basic human right to love whomever their heart wants to love without fear or hatred or prejudice.

Then, Joe gets up to demonstrate some required choreographic vocabulary in the world of male revues, “the body roll.”

And you can’t have a “hottest bachelor” feature without appropriate shirtless pics to go with!

In the feature interview, Joe talks about what he finds sexy in a partner and how his own “hot-blooded” personality factors into who would or would not make for the ideal person for him. A few excerpts from the feature:

“I am part Sicilian,” he tells PEOPLE in this week’s cover story. “I am passionate. I am a hot-blooded person. If you don’t like spicy, then maybe I’m not for you.”

“I’m at my best when I have someone to wake up next to.”

As for his favorite part of a woman, “I’m big into smell,” he says. “It’s funny I got cast as a werewolf. There’s something about the smell on that part of a woman’s neck where it meets the jaw, ahhhh! It’s heaven.”

Trailer: Joe Manganiello’s male stripper documentary “La Bare”

Joe Manganiello makes his directorial debut with this documentary exploring the world of male revues.

Following the shirtless hunks of Dallas’ La Bare, Manganiello pulls back the curtain on what he calls “a strange and provocative world hidden in plain sight.”

The film made it’s debut at Slamdance this past season and is being prepped for release this summer.

Because my husband works with the world famous Chippendales in Las Vegas, I’ve seen a lot of what happens in this environment and it’s really fascinating. Not just from the dancer’s perspective, but what the experience means to the women and how it affects them.
