Joe Manganiello Joins Cast of Pee-Wee Herman’s New Movie

My favorite announcement of the week!

Finally! I can announce the secret I’ve been carrying around with me for weeks: the coolest actor on the planet, my friend Joe Manganiello, is joining the cast of my new movie, ‘Pee-wee’s Big Holiday’. Who does he play? I didn’t say…

Joe’s already my friend in real life– and he’s tremendously talented and a terrific person! I am so glad we are FINALLY going to get to work together! This totally makes up for being cut out of ‘Magic Mike’ and ‘Magic Mike 2’!”

Manganiello remarked, “Paul Reubens is one of the great comic geniuses of our time. Growing up, my Saturday mornings were all about Pee-wee Herman. I saw everything he did. I can’t believe that I’m going to get to share scenes with one of the iconic figures of my childhood.”

I’m a HUGE Pee-Wee Herman fan. (And of course Joe, but that goes without saying…)

Justice League Heroes Get The “Magic Mike” Treatment

DC Comics plans to pay tribute to Hollywood with several upcoming covers that pay homage to some classic movie posters. Represented in the group of comic book covers are Hollywood blockbusters 300, Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure and Purple Rain.

However, the Justice League #40 is catching many an eye as it gives Superman and company a chance to emulate the movie poster for the 2012 male stripper movie, Magic Mike.

Artist Emanuela Lupacchino, gives fans Aquaman, Batman, Superman, Green Lantern and Flash recreating the now famous poses from the Channing Tatum hit film.

Channing Tatum Promises “Joe Manganiello Naked As Much As Possible” In Magic Mike XXL

In an interview with TIME Magazine, Channing Tatum promises movie goers more naked Joe Manganiello in the upcoming Magic Mike XXL:

Tatum: One of our first stops is at a drag club on our odyssey. We call it a stripper odyssey because it’s a traveling band of strippers. This movie is a lot more fun. In the first movie, we were obligated to show the underbelly — the pitfalls and dangers of being in that world. In this one, we kicked off a lot of the darkness. We’re going to have a lot of fun on the road together. Hopefully you’re going to care about these guys, and then get to see a lot of ridiculous nakedness and stupidity.

TIME: That’s what America wants.

Tatum: We got Joe Manganiello naked as much as possible. Everyone in the world: you’re welcome.
