Geraldo Rivera: Trump Should Be Impeached

#DonaldTrump should be Impeached. He should know history is judging him whether or not he is convicted and removed from office. He should also apologize to the families of those who lost their lives. His actions were inexcusable & undeniable. This time, he did it. pic.twitter.com/IAh57UuhI6
— Geraldo Rivera (@GeraldoRivera) January 13, 2021
You’ve been supporting him through thick and thin. So much corruption that you have defended over these years. And now finally? I’m thankful you did find your spine but it should have been a lot sooner.

Too little too late #GeraldoRivera you carried his water for FAR too long. You disavowing him now is tantamount to the cries for "unity" now among the GOP that have been sewing division for 4 years. Apology not accepted sir….

Brian Williams Throws Deadpan Shade Geraldo’s Way

Brian Williams throws deadpan shade: “What Trump Steaks did for the hungry, what Trump Water did for the thirsty in our nation, what Trump University did to lift up the uneducated in our country. Along comes Trump Vaccine. The possibilities are endless.” pic.twitter.com/nWkuAMjLUJ

Fox News Hosts Almost Come To Blows Over Who Exploits “Misery” More
In-fighting is fun 🙂
From Mediaite:
As Fox’s The Five discussed Trump today, Jesse Watters credited Trump for his outspokenness and called President Obama a “skinny community organizer.” Geraldo Rivera scolded him for being “disrespectful” and things went downhill from there.
Rivera insisted Trump and others are making wrong conclusions about immigrants over Steinle’s death and shouted, “You’re exploiting the misery of that family!” Watters shot back, “You’re exploring it by downplaying it!”
Eric Bolling got into the mix and told Rivera he “exploits and sensationalizes everything.” This one really set Rivera off.
“You’re lucky that you’re my friend,” he said, “I’d knock you out right now. That’s absolute BS!… What do you do? Where do you get your stuff from?”
“You exploit people more!”
“No – YOU exploit people more!”
Delicious.
Geraldo Rivera shocks the Twitterverse with selfie body photo
Geraldo Rivera shocked the Twitterverse with the above photo he posted on Twitter on July 21.
I don’t find the pic terribly salacious, but I’m not a fan of Rivera’s to begin with.
Throughout the recent Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman trial, Rivera maintained that Trayvon was shot because he was wearing a “hoodie” and therefore appeared to be a thug.
Geraldo Rivera predicts GOP will move toward marriage equality in near future
Fox News’ Geraldo Rivera speaks with Michelangelo Signorile about the GOP position on marriage equality and where he believes the issue is headed in the near future.
Geraldo Rivera: “I think the hoodie is as much responsible for Trayvon Martin’s death as George Zimmerman was”
Seriously? From the video:
BRIAN KILMEADE KILMEADE (co-host): Let’s talk about the Trayvon Martin case and what’s going on in Florida right now.
GERALDO RIVERA: I believe that George Zimmerman, the overzealous neighborhood watch captain should be investigated to the fullest extent of the law and if he is criminally liable, he should be prosecuted. But I am urging the parents of black and Latino youngsters particularly to not let their children go out wearing hoodies. I think the hoodie is as much responsible for Trayvon Martin’s death as George Zimmerman was.
JULIET HUDDY (guest-host): What do you mean?
RIVERA: When you, when you see a kid walking — Juliet — when you see a kid walking down the street, particularly a dark skinned kid like my son Cruz, who I constantly yelled at when he was going out wearing a damn hoodie or those pants around his ankles. Take that hood off, people look at you and they — what do they think? What’s the instant identification, what’s the instant association?
At the 2:47 mark Geraldo says “unless it’s raining, or you’re at a track meet – leave the hoodie home.” Has anyone told Geraldo IT WAS RAINING when Trayvon was shot???
Shut up, Geraldo. Shut up.
