Actor Shia LaBeouf removed from audience at Broadway’s CABARET

Actor Shia LaBeouf was not only escorted out of a performance of Cabaret on Broadway tonight in handcuffs. And according to sources, it got stranger and stranger.

Apparently, due to spitting on police officers he had to be restrained in a face mask.

The 28-year-old actor was escorted out of the performance in handcuffs during intermission after he was “slapping random people on the behind and on the back of the head. He was also smoking.”

When taken to the Midtown North precinct, who got a little rowdy with the cops who were trying to take of his handcuffs. He told them, “F–k you. I’ll f–k you up,” a source told Page Six.

The cops decided not to take the handcuffs off after he said that, so he started spitting at the officers, who then put him in a face mask.

Man arrested for throwing puppy from truck moving 50mph

Via AZfamily.com:An Arizona man has been arrested for animal cruelty after allegedly throwing a puppy from a vehicle which, according to witnesses, was moving at 50 miles an hour.

The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office (YCSO) arrested 27-year-old Joseph Kennedy, a resident of Cornville. He faces two felony counts of Cruelty to Animals, along with a charge of Possession of Dangerous Drugs and Paraphernalia.

The puppy was taken to a local emergency vet clinic. Vets say the dog suffered significant brain damage as a result of the incident.

MaryAnn Canning took the dog home and named it Hope. She got the call that YCSO made the arrest Monday night. “I was really happy, really really happy. Really relieved that Hope is going to get some justice,” she said.

After being detained by officers, Kennedy apparently resisted arrest.

According to reports, Kennedy had a fight with his girlfriend on the day of the incident, and while riding in a friend’s car threw the puppy out the window because “he didn’t care for the animal.” Kennedy’s 8-month old baby was also in the car at the time.

Imagine if the man had been in an even worse mood…?

I say throw him from a car moving at 50 miles an hour.

Although blind in one eye and dear, Hope is doing well in a foster home, according to sources.

Joe the Plumber to grieving father: “Your dead kids don’t trump my constitutional rights”

Joe Wurzelbacher plays the role of asshole to a grieving father telling him "your dead kids don't trump my Constituional rights."

Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher – better known as “Joe the Plumber” – has penned an open letter saying the recent shooting deaths of young people near the University of California at Santa Barbara shouldn’t get in the way of his right to bear arms.

Addressing Richard Martinez, who I wrote about earlier today regarding his statement to the press about the NRA and politicians, Wurzelbacher begins well then tells the man – and these are his words – “your dead kids don’t trump my Constitutional rights.”

From Wurzelbacher’s open letter:

I am sorry you lost your child. I myself have a son and daughter and the one thing I never want to go through, is what you are going through now. But:

As harsh as this sounds – your dead kids don’t trump my Constitutional rights.

Richard Martinez, whose son (Christopher) was among the murdered, choked back tears at a news conference, blaming politicians the next day: “The talk about gun rights. What about Chris’ right to live?” Martinez said – and much more.

There are no critical words for a grieving father. He can say whatever he wants and blame whoever he’d like – it’s okay by me. You can’t take a step in his shoes – at least I can’t.

But the words and images of Mr. Martinez blaming “the proliferation of guns”, lobbyists, politicians, etc.; will be exploited by gun-grab extremists as are all tragedies involving gun violence and the mentally ill by the anti-Second Amendment Left.

First of all, can I say “timing?” Did this really need to be said now? Today? In light of a father’s grief, couldn’t Wurzelbacher have hit “pause” for a moment while a father mourns?

Second, the fact of the matter is someone with mental illness was able to buy not one, not two, but three guns with nothing to keep him from his brutal murder spree.

Third, Martinez did not advocate for “taking away” anyone’s rights.  He did speak to the fact that every single common sense idea for better gun safety in this country is shot down by the NRA – even when those ideas have the support of 90% of the county.

Wurzelbacher has a right to express himself. But truly this is one of those times where just because you CAN say something doesn’t mean you SHOULD.

Sen. Ted Cruz: The Democrats in the US Senate are going to repeal the 1st Amendment

Sen. Ted Cruz loves to pretend to tell the truth even when he’s purposefully twisting it for dramatic effect and scare tactics. Read below from Right Wing Watch:

When Sen. Ted Cruz told the conservative pastors gathered at the Family Research Council’s Watchmen on the Wall conference yesterday that “the Senate Democrats are going to be voting on a constitutional amendment to repeal the First Amendment,” he was met with an audible gasp. He earned more gasps when he warned that this amendment would suppress the political speech rights of the “citizenry” and “muzzle” pastors in their pulpits.

We were surprised too. That would be news!

But then it became clear what he was talking about: Senate leadership is planning to hold a vote on a constitutional amendment overturning the Supreme Court’s 2010 Citizens United decision and rulings in related campaign finance cases such as this year’s McCutcheon case, which have steadily eliminated the limits on election spending by corporations and wealthy individuals.

The amendment, written by Sen. Tom Udall, would give the federal government and states the “power to regulate the raising and spending of money and in kind equivalents” in elections, as it was allowed to do before the Supreme Court started dismantling campaign finance regulations.

So what the amendment would do is limit the amount huge corporations and ultra-wealthy individuals can donate to campaigns. The Citizens United decision has given those with enormous amounts of money huge power to sway elections.

So, unless a pastor runs a Super-PAC, they are not going to be effected in the manner that Ted Cruz seems to draw for his audience in this video.

What a douche.  Note that he never mentions Citizens United or campaign donations.  If you merely listened to this speech, you would walk away with the understanding that the US Senate is going to take away your freedom of speech or religion, WHICH is totally not going to happen.

Bryan Fischer: SCOTUS says it’s a crime to be a Christian

Bryan Fischer tries to put his tiresome spin on the decision by the US Supreme Court to let stand a ruling that found a New Mexico photographer violated the state’s public accommodation laws by refusing services to a gay couple for their commitment ceremony.

Of course, SCOTUS did not rule that it’s against the law to be Christian. They ruled it’s against the law to be a bigot when there are public accommodation laws in place.

Florida tail-gater gets karma and 4 million YouTube views

Over 4 million views in two days.

From the YouTube poster:

This happened to me on SR 41 in Tampa on Monday March 24th.

This pathetic excuse for a human being tailgated me for about three minutes. After about a minute, and me shaking my head, I pulled out my phone and started recording.

I couldn’t move over because there were trucks in the right lane, and I sure as heck wasn’t going to speed on a rainy day with the roads being as slick as they were. I was turning left in about a half-mile when this happened.

Now bear in mind, that this guy had already passed a truck in a left turn lane, was tailgating and driving recklessly on a wet slick road, wasn’t paying attention, and all in all being an ignorant ass. Not once was I mouthing off, I never brake checked him, and in fact until I watched the video after the accident I didn’t even know he shot a bird at me because I wasn’t looking at him at all, I was paying attention to the road while holding the phone up with my right hand. I’ve recorded circumstances like this before, catching idiots doing stupid things, but never ever had this happen.

He initially fled the scene of the accident, but thanks to this video he has been caught and charged. Massive props to the Sheriffs Department and most especially the Highway Patrol who responded to the scene. This moron could have easily killed somebody with his moronic behavior, and my laughing at the end would have been replaced with tears. Needless to say though, I’ve never seen Karma come back so fast.

Comments have now been disabled on the clip because apparently it was getting out of hand. While some supported the poster, some wished her dead (?), and some criticized her for using a phone camera while driving.

What I don’t understand is, from what I can see on the video, why didn’t the truck driver pass her when her could? He didn’t need to tail-gate other than make an asshole comment. And that assholery is what got him in a wreck.

What do you think?

New Hampshire Republican jokes about domestic violence

New Hampshire Republican state Rep. Kyle Tasker thinks domestic violence is funny.  So much so that he took to Facebook to joke about it.

Tasker was attempting to stand up for Republican Mark Warden, who last year said that some people “like being in abusive relationships.” ”It’s a love-hate relationship,” Warden concluded.

Taking things into his own hands, Tasker posted the image below which depicts two people, drawn as stick figures, apparently having oral sex, and captioned, “50,000 battered women and I still eat mine plain.”

Tasker later removed the post but was screen captured by Huffington Post.

Remember, the GOP thinks it has no problem with women voters.  Between the coarse humor being posted by an elected official and the message behind the post, does this go too far?

Justin Bieber swears at court reporter in Miami disposition

Well, in case anyone needed further proof what a jerk and basic waste of anyone’s time Justin Bieber is, check out his douche-bag behavior below during his deposition (via TMZ) for a lawsuit in which Bieber is accused of directing his bodyguards to attack a photographer.

Bieber can barely bring himself to whisper answers, so when the court reporter asks him to speak up since she can’t hear a “yes” from a “no” he learns how to speak up enough to be an asshole.

In another clip from TMZ, when asked if Usher discovered him, Bieber disses his mentor and says he was actually discovered on YouTube. The best part … he clearly was trying to say he himself was instrumental in his success, but instead he says, “I was detrimental to my own career.”

Well, at least HE knows the truth.

Can anyone explain why teenage girls think this is so cool?

Fox News host and “Christian” Todd Starnes tweets about shirtless “Obama”

https://twitter.com/toddstarnes/status/442518497021554688

“Christian” and Fox News host Todd Starnes had this to tweet regarding Saturday Night Live’s cold opening featuring Liam Neeson and parody President Obama.

I have never seen the level of decorum regarding our President fall to such unheard of depths.

This is really what people tune into Fox News for?

Are Americans really looking for this kind of behavior to parrot?
