• LGBTQ Nation: The family of Renee Good, who was shot by an ICE officer earlier this week in Minneapolis, has closed donations to a GoFundMe campaign launched to pay for funeral expenses after the initial goal of $50,000 was exceeded raising over $1.5 million.
• New Music: Pop artist Micah McLaurin has released his new single “How Can I.” Drawing on his experience of growing up in a southern, religious family who wanted him to conform, “How Can I” is Micah’s most personal song to date as he grapples with forgiving his parents who repeatedly rejected him for who he is.
• The Guardian: A new analysis of Elon Musk’s DOGE program shows the Trump administration “wasted” $10 billion on paid leave (paying federal workers to stay home) as part of its “efficiency” efforts.
• C-SPAN: Donald Trump said on Friday he will take over Greenland “the easy way or the hard way.” He also claimed Denmark doesn’t have a right to the island just because they “had a boat land there 500 years ago.”

• New York Times: Washington National Opera, which has performed at the Kennedy Center for the Arts since 1971, is leaving the center.
