Former Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama have issued statements denouncing the deadly ICE shootings in Minneapolis while encouraging peaceful protests.
Former President Barack Obama notes the tactics employed by ICE agents that “seem designed to intimidate, harass, provoke, and endanger” the residents of the targeted cities.
He also encourages the Trump administration to “reconsider their approach” and “work constructively” with local Minnesota leaders to avert more chaos.

Former President Bill Clinton called the recent shootings “unacceptable and should have been avoided.”
He also encourages those “who believe in the promise of American democracy to stand up, speak out and show that our nation still belongs to We the People.”
