Poll: Kennedy Pulls More Votes From Trump Than Biden

The latest survey from Quinnipiac University Polling shows independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy siphons more votes from Donald Trump than President Biden in a hypothetical three-way race. In a hypothetical matchup between President Biden and former President Trump, 47% of registered voters support Biden, while 46% support Trump, a statistical tie. Quinnipiac University’s August and September polling showed the exact same result – Biden 47% to Trump 46%. But a hypothetical 2024 general election matchup that includes independent candidate and anti-vaxx activist Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., Biden receives 39% support, Trump receives 36% support, and Kennedy receives 22% support. Quinnipiac also notes that Kennedy received a plurality of support (36%) among independent voters, while Trump got 31% and Biden 30% from that same group. Kennedy initially announced he would run for the Democratic nomination against Biden. But in early October, he changed tactics and declared he’d go the indie route. https://twitter.com/QuinnipiacPoll/status/1719777591509565587
