Out indie/soul artist Michael Blume drops his latest song “R U Mad” from his upcoming EP Cynicism & Sincerity, set for release June 8th.

Hit play below to listen to the new track featuring undeniable bouncy beats with a provocative refrain, “Are you mad that I’m gay?”

The song is available now at all digital music outlets.

You can catch Blume in performance at the upcoming Annual PRIDE Reception at the Stonewall Inn in New York City on Monday, June 4th.

The yearly reception highlights the work of the Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative (SIGBI), which was founded in 2017, providing support to underserved and marginalized LGBTQ communities within the United States and around the world.

About the new EP:

Cynicism & Sincerity includes six songs that could just as easily ignite the dance floor of a sweaty underground club as they could set a festival field in motion with indie charm, sexy soul, and epic pop ambition. They also allow Michael to speak freely in favor of equality and social justice, using his platform to share a message.

“It was important for me to acknowledge the good and the bad,” he explains of the EP’s title. “Even though they’re in opposition to each other, they’re both flourishing at the exact same time. There’s a dichotomy of multiple truths where two things in opposition exist right next to each other.”

I’m liking that catchy refrain 😉

Colton Haynes Deletes & Unfollows Husband On Instagram

Arrow and Teen Wolf star Colton Haynes, who married his husband Jeff Leatham last fall, has apparently deleted the most recents pics of his hubby on Instagram. And, the duo seems to have "unfollowed" each other on the social media app.

US Magazine, demonstrating an eagle eye for social media, reports that Arrow/Teen Wolf star Colton Haynes has deleted recent photos of husband Jeff Leatham on Instagram.

And, and the couple has apparently unfollowed each other.

Currently, Haynes’ most recent Instagram post with Leatham is from January 21. “On this day…many moons ago…I met the love of my life @jeffleatham in Paris…here’s to love, laughter, & happily ever after 🙂 Happy anniversary boo bah,” Haynes wrote.

Leatham’s most recent post that included Haynes was on March 24. A video featuring Haynes dancing with his mom, Dana, who had recently passed away.

Adding to the mystery, Haynes, who has shown an affinity for dabbling in music, recently shared a preview of a song he wrote and recorded.

Titled “Man It Sucks,” Haynes croons:

“Man it sucks / When someone figures out your games and don’t wanna play ‘em no more / We’re crying in our bed and making our way to the floor / Man it sucks / And I don’t like when you’re staying out all night and never answer your phone / I follow you around the world just to be left alone / And man it sucks.”

Thinking best thoughts for the previously very public couple.

Haynes and Leatham married last fall in October after a proposal that included a video message from none-other-than Cher.

The grand wedding ceremony was officiated by reality personality Kris Jenner.

Trump Throws Rudy Giuliani Under The Bus: “He Started Yesterday. He Will Get His Facts Straight.”

Donald Trump threw his new lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, under the bus twice this morning as he addressed Giuliani’s recent remarks saying the Donald knew about and repaid a $130K “hush money” payment to porn star Stormy Daniels.

“He started yesterday. He will get his facts straight,” Trump said of Giuliani on his way to the NRA convention in Texas. “Virtually everything that’s been said has been said incorrectly.”

Arriving at Joint Base Andrews, Trump again discussed Giuliani with reporters, saying he’s a “special guy” who is new on the job.

“When Rudy made the statements — Rudy is great — but Rudy had just started, and he wasn’t totally familiar with everything,” Trump said.

Trump also denied he once told reporters he didn’t know about the Stormy Daniels payment:

“You take a look at what I said … You go take a look at what we said.”

Well, let’s go to the video tape. Here’s what Trump said in April on Air Force One about the Stormy Daniels payment:

Reporter: “Mr. President did you know about the $130,000 payment to Stormy Daniels?”

Trump: “No. No.”

Teaser: Aaron Tveit Sings “Come What May” From Upcoming “Moulin Rouge! The Musical”

Broadway's Aaron Tveit sings "Come What May" from the upcoming Broadway production "Moulin Rouge! The Musical!"

Even as the 2018 Tony Award nominations were announced this week, music theater fans are looking ahead to Moulin Rouge! The Musical, based on the 2001 movie musical by Baz Luhrmann, which will begin its journey to the Great White Way this summer.

At Boston’s Emerson Colonial Theatre, audiences will get ‘first look’ at the new show for only 36 performances – June 27 through August 5.

Via press release:

Set in the Montmartre Quarter of Paris, France at the turn of the century, a world of indulgent beauty and unparalleled extravagance, of bohemians and aristocrats, of boulevardiers and mademoiselles, Moulin Rouge! The Musical tells the fictional story of an ambitious, lovesick writer, Christian (Aaron Tveit), and a dazzling, entrancing chanteuse, Satine (Karen Olivo).

Their lives collide at the Moulin Rouge with its many characters including the host of the Moulin Rouge, Harold Zidler (Danny Burstein); the brilliant and starving artist Toulouse-Lautrec (Sahr Ngaujah); the greatest tango dancer – and gigolo – in all of Paris, Santiago (Ricky Rojas); the tempting Nini (Robyn Hurder); and The Duke of Monroth (Tam Mutu), the wealthy and entitled patron of the club who thinks he can buy anything he wants, including love.

As in the film, Moulin Rouge! The Musical celebrates some of the greatest popular music of the last 50 years. The stage musical features many of the iconic songs from the movie and also includes recent hits released since the movie premiered 15 years ago.

Check out leading man Aaron Tveit singing “Come What May” from the upcoming musical below.

Celine Dion & Deadpool Team-Up In New Music Video For DEADPOOL 2 Soundtrack

Pop superstar Celine Dion has recorded an original track, “Ashes,” for the upcoming Deadpool 2 soundtrack and it’s pretty much just what you’d want from the parties involved.

Celine sings her face off (no surprise there) and then, there’s Deadpool himself who feels so moved by the song that he contributes an interpretive dance in high heels to the music video.

Over a million views in just a few hours, this is pretty terrific.

Deadpool 2 hits theaters May 15.

NBC News: Federal Investigators Monitored Trump Lawyer’s Phone Calls For Weeks

Michael Cohen

NBC News is reporting that the phone lines of Donald Trump’s longtime attorney, Michael Cohen, have been monitored by federal investigators for several weeks.

Cohen is currently under investigation for his part in a $130K “hush money” payment to porn star Stormy Daniels regarding an alleged affair she had with Donald Trump.

It is not clear how long the monitoring of phone calls has been authorized, but NBC News has learned it was in place in the weeks leading up to the raids on Cohen’s offices, hotel room, and home in early April, according to one person with direct knowledge.

The calls are logged by what is commonly referred to as a pen register, which records the number of the phone that made the call and the number that received it, but does not record the contents of any conversation.

NBC News originally reported that Cohen’s phone lines had been wiretapped, meaning a judge had given investigators approval to listen to phone calls. Three senior U.S. officials now dispute that, saying the monitoring of the calls was limited to a log of calls.

At least one phone call between a phone line associated with Cohen and the White House was logged, the person said.

Ireland Moves To Ban Anti-Gay “Conversion Therapy”

Legislation that would ban so-called “ex-gay” conversion therapy continues to advance in Ireland’s parliament.

The bill, titled the Prohibition of Conversion Therapies Bill 2018, has now passed the second stage in the Seanad.

The legislation would ban the archaic and harmful practice of attempting to “cure” homosexuality in Ireland. Should the bill pass, individuals found guilty of performing conversion therapy on another person could face steep fines and possible prison sentences.

Medical experts around the world say the practice is extremely harmful and can lead to lowered self-esteem, depression and suicide.

In 2015, Ireland became the first country in the world to legalize same-sex marriage through popular vote.

At this writing, 13 states in the U.S. currently ban the use of “conversion therapy” on minors, along with nearly three dozen cities and local municipalities.

Currently only Brazil, Ecuador and Malta have nationwide bans.

2018 LGBT Pride Nights At Major League Baseball

As warm weather finally truly arrives in the month of May, sports fans know we are in the heat of baseball season.

And (most) LGBT baseball fans can look forward to at least one night out where their local team hosts an event just for them.

Outsports reports that 21 of the 30 MLB teams will be hosting some type of Pride event especially for their LGBT fans.

And if you’re a Chicago Cubs fan, you get two LGBT nights (Pride Day – June 10; Out at Wrigley – August 26).

For the most part, however, the events are scheduled to coincide with Pride Month in June.

The majority of these events are coordinated with the team and local organizations, although some, like the Kansas City Royals, have a grassroots-organized Pride Night.

Nine teams, unfortunately, do not have plans to hold any special night for LGBT fans. Those include the Miami Marlins, Cincinnati Reds, New York Yankees, Chicago White Sox, Cleveland Indians, Detroit Tigers, Houston Astros, Los Angeles Angels and the Texas Rangers.

What’s

According to Outsports, only three teams have never had any type of Pride Night: Los Angeles Angels, Cincinnati Reds and the New York Yankees.

Click here for a complete list (at this writing) of Pride Night events hosted by MLB teams this season.

And even if you don’t understand the game all that well, remember there’s other reasons to take in a baseball game – like the players 🙂
