• New York Daily News: After 20 years, the New York City Fire Department has called an end to its famous “Calendar of Heroes” beefcake calendar. First published in 2003, the $16 calendar generated between $150,000 to $250,000 a year for the FDNY Foundation.

• The Advocate: Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg said Sunday he will not run for the open US Senate seat in Michigan in 2024, in his most direct answer to date ruling out a potential bid.
• SNL: It was, of course, inevitable that the Chinese spy balloon would land on SNL this week. Props to Bowen Yang’s brilliant portrayal of the popped balloon in this week’s cold open.
