• New York Times: The shooter who attacked two National Guard members in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday had worked with C.I.A.-backed military units in Afghanistan during the war there, and was granted legal asylum in the U.S. by the Trump administration in April 2025.
• Them: As we officially head into the Christmas season, here’s a list of 15 LGBTQ holiday flicks from horror movies with a mistletoe twist to rom-coms like the 2020 romance “Dashing In December.“

• The Advocate: HIV prevention efforts around the world have suffered their “most significant setback in decades” due to funding cuts, a new report from UNAID has found. The cuts could result in an additional 3.3 million new HIV infections between 2025 and 2030.
• JoeMyGod: Tucker Carlson thinks he made some point here taunting Piers Morgan to say the word “faggot.” Good for Piers for not taking the bait.
