Pink News: Guardians of the Galaxy star Dave Bautista shared a beautiful Pride message dedicated to his lesbian mother. “I was always proud of who my mom was because she was always proud of who she was. In your face, f**k you if you don’t like it, unapologetically loud and proud. And her son payed [sic] attention. BE LOUD, BE PROUD, BE YOU. ❤️🏳️‍🌈💪🏽 #ProudSonofaLesbian.”

Queerty: The city of Chicago has issued a warning to residents about monkeypox after at least one case has been linked back to the International Mr Leather gathering that took place in the city in late May.

Charlotte Observer: A photograph showing two men kissing after a marriage proposal in front of the crowd at the 2019 Charlotte Pride Festival & Parade was rejected for a “Photography as History” exhibit at the Gaston County Museum. County Manager Kim Eagle told Museum staff to have the photographer submit a replacement picture “that would be more considerate of differing viewpoints in the community.”
