Some news items I thought worth your time:
• Kenneth-in-the-212: Check out this week’s round-up of LGBTQ publications including Boots/Blue Film star Kieron Moore on the cover of Attitude Magazine.
• Broadway: The nominees for the 70th Drama Desk Awards, honoring the best in Broadway theater this year, have been announced. Full list at the link.
• Erin in the Morning: The Colorado Senate Judiciary Committee passed HB26-1322, a bill that creates a private civil right of action allowing survivors of conversion therapy to sue the practitioners who subjected them to it.
The bill, which has no statute of limitations for such claims, would likely end the practice of conversion therapy by making it financially prohibitive. It comes following the Supreme Court’s decision last month which found that Colorado’s 2019 ban on conversion therapy unconstitutional on “free speech” grounds.
1. Colorado is on the verge of passing a new conversion therapy ban. And it’s clever.
Borrowing from a Republican tactic of using private right of action to get around SCOTUS rulings, now Colorado will allow survivors to sue their conversion therapists.
All that is left is the full Senate passage.

• Axios: Maine Gov. Janet Mills suspended her Senate campaign on Thursday, acknowledging she lacked the funding to win the upcoming primary. Mills has been consistently outraised and outpolled by progressive insurgent Graham Platner. In hypothetical match-ups, Platner leads 5-term GOP Sen. Susan Collins by 8-9 points.
• Daily Mail: Britney Spears was charged in California today with driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol. Spears, who has since entered substance abuse treatment, was arrested March 4 after driving her black BMW fast and erratically on U.S. 101.
