LGBTQ Nation: The West African nation of Burkina Faso has criminalized same-sex relations, making homosexuality punishable by up to five years in prison. Two other African nations – Ghana and Uganda – increased the punishments for homosexuality in recent years.

CNBC: Nearly 600 economists have signed an open letter defending Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook after Donald Trump attempted to fire her.
