Netflix drops the official trailer for Season 7 of the streamer’s hit series, Elite, which will launch globally on October 20. Season 6 ended with a mysterious drive-by shooting and Ivan waking up in the hospital. We don’t know who was holding the gun, but someone was clearly out for revenge. Season 7 will likely address that question while following Omar’s journey. Via press release:
Las Encinas will once again open its doors to turn upside down once more the lives of its students.
In this new season, Omar (Omar Ayuso) is living a new life at the university and far away from Las Encinas, but he is unable to move on. The guilt he feels for Samuel’s death and the suffering from that period are still very much present, leading him to undergo therapy.
Thanks to an internship, he decides to return to the school where everything happened to confront his demons face to face.
Through Omar’s journey, we will discover that the rest of the students are also silently battling their own hells.
