Pop star Lauv (image via official Facebook)Pop star Lauv seemingly came out as bisexual in short TikTok video wherein he shares he’s “also a lil bit into men.” And the reaction from fans was notably positive.
The announcement came in the form of a quick, 5-second selfie video shared with his 1.3 million TikTok followers. Text placed over the video read, “When ur dating a girl but ur also a lil bit into men“.
“Does it have to be that big of a deal?” the 28-year-old singer asked in the video’s caption. “I haven’t done much aside from kiss so tbh don’t wanna jump the gun but tbh I feel things and I don’t wanna pretend I don’t.”

Shortly before posting that message, Lauv shared his fear “to say anything on the internet” in another TikTok with the caption: “I wanna be who I am.”
As one fan wrote on the post, you gotta love a casual coming out.
Folks had previously wondered if Lauv had found a romantic spark with Australian pop star Troye Sivan, after the two collaborated on the single “i’m so tired…’ four years ago. At the time, Sivan referred to Lauv as “my new bf” but Lauv never addressed the rumors.
