Some news items you might have missed: • Gayety: Actress/pop star Demi Lovato, who came out as non-binary in May 2021, has issued a heartfelt statement in response to Donald Trump’s recent anti-trans executive order. • Kenneth-in-the-212: The queer classic Saturday Night at the Baths comes to Dekkoo in a new 4K restoration. • Washington Post: ICE agents have been directed by the Trump administration to aggressively ramp up the number of people they arrest to at least 1,200 to 1,500 per day. The increased quotas are due to Trump being disappointed with the results of his mass deportation campaign so far. • Broadway World: Sometimes new shows just don’t get the buzz they deserve. A Wonderful World: The Louis Armstrong Musical will play its final performance on Broadway on Sunday, February 23, 2025. I hear it’s terrific. If you’re in NYC, go check it out at Studio 54.

That decision has now been reversed. • Right Wing Watch: Less than a week after Donald Trump commuted Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes’ 18-year prison sentence, Rhodes was standing behind Trump onstage at his Las Vegas rally.
