In related news, Stormy Daniels’s lawyer said he hasn’t yet received any interview requests to appear on Fox News.
“I’ve been invited to give interviews to literally hundreds of media outlets around the world,” Michael Avenatti said during an interview on MSNBC.
“What is shocking to me is, I haven’t received a single request, not one, from Fox News,” he said.
Now, wouldn’t a major news outlet be interested in asking Daniels’ attorney questions?

Tweet(s) Of The Day
In a hysterical exchange on Twitter, Franklin Graham (son of deceased American evangelist Billy Graham) trolled the passing of super-scientist Stephen Hawking by writing, “I hope Stephen Hawking did not miss the simple truth that God is the Creator of the universe he loved to study and everything in it.”
Parody account “The Tweet Of God” responded, “Stephen just told Me to tell you to fuck off. Also, your father is burning in hell.”
Another parody account for “Satan” chimed in, “Can confirm.”
p.s. This is not an attack on people’s faith. It’s a jab at an asshole trolling the memory of a genius.
“Will & Grace” Renewed For 3rd New Season
NBC announced during the Paley Center for Media’s Paleyfest in Los Angeles on Saturday that Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Megan Mullally and Sean Hayes will be back for a third new season of Will & Grace.
Additionally, the second season episode order for the reboot of the hit series has been upped from 13 episodes to 18.
“As far as I’m concerned, we can’t get enough of ‘Will & Grace’ and 23 more episodes is music to my ears,” NBC Entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt said in a statement. “We’re eternally grateful that Debra, Eric, Sean and Megan feel the same way and wanted to keep this good thing going. I’m overwhelmed by the euphoric response the new show has received from the press and the audience, and my hat is off to the unrivaled writing team of Max Mutchnick and David Kohan, as well as the brilliant directing of Jimmy Burrows, for consistently delivering one of the best shows on television.”
Taking into account the series’ original run of 8 seasons, this would now bring the sitcom to a total of 11 seasons.
And to think it all started with a surprise 10-minute election-themed mini-episode in fall 2016.

John Oliver’s Book About Mike Pence’s Gay Bunny Hits #1 On Amazon
John Oliver, host of HBO’s Last Week Tonight, did a deep dive last night on Vice President Mike Pence’s terrible record on LGBTQ rights.
About the only thing Oliver could find to like about the veep is his pet rabbit, Marlo Bundo.
Bundo is so popular that the vice president’s daughter, Charlotte Pence, wrote a book about the bunny which was illustrated by second lady (and watercolor artist) Karen Pence.
The publisher says the tome “gives young readers a bunny’s-eye view of the special duties of the vice president.”
In order to spotlight the LGBTQ rights Pence so virulently opposes, Oliver trolled Pence with a parody book, A Day in The Life of Marlon Bundo, wherein a bow tie wearing Marlon meets and falls in love with another gay bunny but runs into obstacles when they try and marry.
Overnight Oliver’s became an Amazon #1 bestseller:
Oliver’s parody book was penned by Last Week Tonight contributor Jill Twiss and illustrated by EG Keller.
The proceeds will go to The Trevor Project, which supports LGBTQ youth, and AIDS United, which works to end the AIDS epidemic in the United States.
“Please buy it for your children; buy it for any child you know, or just buy it because you know it will annoy Mike Pence,” says Oliver. “You’d be doing a nice thing, in a really dick-ish way. And isn’t that the dream, at the end of the day?”
You can watch the segment below. The section on Bundo begins around the 14:10 mark.

In light of the recent revelations of a data breach by Cambridge Analytics of millions and millions of Facebook users, the social media’s stock has dropped drastically today.

California State Senate Gets First LGBT Leader
![]() |
| California state Sen. Toni Atkins |
WTOP in Sacramento reports that openly lesbian California state Sen. Toni Atkins will make history Wednesday when she becomes the first woman and first LGBT to hold the State Senate’s top job.
A former Assembly speaker, Atkins is taking over the post of Senate president pro tem from fellow Democrat Kevin de Leon as the chamber gears up for election season and faces a number of thorny challenges, including a reckoning over sexual misconduct, a loss of the Democratic supermajority and an icy relationship with the state Assembly.
De Leon took control of the Senate in 2014. He’s barred by term limits from seeking re-election and is challenging Democratic U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein.
If she can keep the support of her fellow Democrats, Atkins will have an unusually long run in the Senate’s top job; she isn’t term-limited until 2024.
Atkins, who has advanced groundbreaking legislation on health care, LGBT rights and housing, is described by her colleagues as kind, measured and compassionate but steadfast in her commitment to fighting for people and ideas she believes in.
It’s been said before but bears repeating that real change happens on the state and local level of politics. That’s what makes this step forward important.
Atkins is one of eight members of the California Legislative LGBT Caucus.
She married her wife Jennifer LeSar in 2008.
Equality California issued this statement:
Senator Toni Atkins is one of the LGBTQ community’s most respected and effective leaders and her upcoming election as the Senate President Pro Tem breaks multiple glass ceilings. Not only will she be the first woman to serve as leader of the California Senate, but Senator Atkins will also be the first LGBTQ person to serve in that role. This follows on her historic career in the Assembly where she became the first lesbian Speaker.
Electing role models like Senator Atkins is important to the LGBTQ community because it sends a clear message to our community across the country, particularly LGBTQ youth, that LGBTQ people can achieve anything. By having a seat at the table, LGBTQ elected officials can speak with their colleagues with authenticity and first-hand experience on issues that affect our community.
Lin-Manuel Miranda & Ben Platt Team Up For Hamilton-Dear Evan Hansen Mashup: “Found / Tonight”
Two Tony Award winners singing a mashup of two songs from back-to-back Tony Award winning scores and a portion of the proceeds go to help the March for Our Lives initiative.
Nope – can’t find a thing wrong with that.
Lin-Manuel Miranda and Ben Platt finally team up for a mash-up of Hamilton and Dear Evan Hansen.
The new single “Found/Tonight,” arranged by Alex Lacamoire, brings together Hamilton’s “The Story of Tonight” with Dear Evan Hansen‘s “You Will Be Found,” adding up to a truly anthemic theme song for the upcoming nationwide protest against gun violence, March for Our Lives.
USA Today sets up the two songs that become musical magic:
“The Story of Tonight,” from Hamilton, is sung by a young Alexander Hamilton, Marquis de Lafayette, John Laurens and Hercules Mulligan, who share a round of drinks and camaraderie before joining the American Revolution.
“You Will Be Found,” from the 2017 Tony winner for best musical Dear Evan Hansen, is a speech about loneliness and friendship intended to keep alive the memory of a high school pal who committed suicide.
And here’s how it comes together:
Even when the dark comes crashing through, when you need a friend to carry you,
When you’re broken on the ground, you will be found
So let the sun come streaming in cause you’ll reach up and you’ll rise again,
If you only look around, you will be found
And when our children tell their story, they’ll tell the story of tonight
No matter what they tell you tomorrow there’ll be more of us
Telling the story of tonight
Bonus points for Platt getting to sing the word “tonight” as he’s publicly campaigning to play “Tony” in the upcoming movie remake of West Side Story.

One of the students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, where last month’s devastating gun massacre left 17 dead, clearly got the feels intended as he promoted the song on Twitter:
@BenSPLATT and @Lin_Manuel did something amazing. You should go listen to it.Found/Tonight. Download it. Portion of the proceeds going to our movement.
This song takes the two songs I listen to most for inspiration and puts them in one nice convenient spot.
I also cried
