BroadwayWorld: Broadway’s Cabaret revival will close a month earlier than previously announced. Additionally, the show’s current “Emcee” – Tony winner Billy Porter (above) – will not appear in the remainder of the run due to a case of sepsis.

Donald Trump berated a reporter today for asking about his use of the word “war” in his threats to deploy the National Guard in Chicago.

“Are you trying to go to war with Chicago?” asked White House NBC News correspondent Yamiche Alcindor.

“When you say that darling, that’s fake news,” said Trump. “Listen – be quiet, listen! You don’t listen! You never listen. That’s why you’re second-rate. We’re not going to war, we’re gonna clean up our cities.”

Report: Just 22K Jobs Added To US Economy In August

The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports just 22,000 jobs were added in August(well below expectations), as unemployment ticked up to 4.3%.
