Steven Miles, known in ‘adult entertainment’ circles as “Sargeant Miles,” pleaded guilty to assaulting, resisting, or impeding law enforcement officers during the violent January 6, 2021, insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. All 220 Republicans present voted for Johnson, and all 209 Democrats voted for House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY).
