NYC Gay Men’s Chorus Returns To Prestigious Choral Event

The New York City Gay Men’s Chorus returned to the American Choral Directors Association stage in late February as an invited headliner, marking its first appearance with the organization in more than 40 years.

Back in 1984, organizers had censored the word “Gay” from the group’s official name in the program. There’s been bad blood ever since.

Plaque Honoring January 6 Police Finally Installed At U.S. Capitol

The long-delayed memorial plaque honoring police who defended the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2020, was finally installed this morning at 4 a.m. this morning.
