Donald Trump has fired Attorney General Pam Bondi following months of reports that he was extremely frustrated with her inability to secure indictments against his political enemies and her deplorable handling of the Epstein files debacle.

From the New York Times:
The firing of Ms. Bondi, 60, ends a turbulent 14-month tenure as attorney general in which she tried desperately to appease a boss who demanded unimpeded control of the Justice Department to pursue politically motivated investigations against targets of his choosing, even when prosecutors warned that there was no evidence to do so.
In the process, Ms. Bondi surrendered much of the department’s historic independence and oversaw the exodus of experienced career officials, leaving the department’s public corruption and national security units, along with many local U.S. attorneys’ offices, weakened and demoralized.
Yet Mr. Trump remained annoyed by Ms. Bondi’s inability to secure indictments of people he referred to as “scum” during a speech in the department’s Great Hall about a year ago.
The president’s support for Ms. Bondi has steadily eroded since last summer, when her early stumbles in managing the release of the Epstein files created a political liability for Mr. Trump among a segment of his supporters.
He has also complained about her shortcomings as a communicator and TV surrogate — a role he thought would suit her talents.
Semafor is reporting the last straw for Trump came after learning she may have alerted Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) to an effort by the administration to release files from a decade-old investigation into his relationship with an alleged Chinese spy which had been closed for years.
The White House reportedly was not pleased she intervened due to her personal friendship with Swalwell.
NEW: Pam Bondi reportedly “begged” to keep her job in an “intense showdown” after being accused of an “unforgivable offense” by Trump, Bondi allegedly leaked details of a pending document release to Democrat Eric Swalwell about his relationship with alleged Chinese spy. -DM

Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin, a lawyer and former member of Congress, is rumored to be the front-runner to become the next Attorney General.
Bondi is the second cabinet member in recent weeks to lose her job, after the Donald kicked Homeland Security Sec. Kristi Noem to the curb last month.
But Bondi doesn’t even get a consolation prize position like Noem, who was at least assigned as “Special Envoy for the Shield of the Americas,” which no one had ever heard of before.
Pam Bondi did everything that sociopathic rapist asked her to do, including the willful cover-up of a massive child sex trafficking operation.
And in exchange for all of it, she was tossed out with the rest of Thursday’s trash.
Embarrassing beyond imagination.
