Dame Olivia Newton-John (photo: Michelle Day)The worst news I think I’ve ever shared – Dame Olivia Newton-John passed away this morning at her home in Southern California this morning at the age of 73 surrounded by family and friends.
As longtime readers of The Randy Report know, my husband Michael has been Olivia’s publicist for more than 20 years. We’ve shared adventures, laughs and music with Olivia all over the world. In addition to her glorious music and philanthropic efforts, Olivia has been a longtime LGBTQ ally. After more than a year of legislative wrangling, Senate Democrats were able to pass the Inflation Reduction Act. The legislation is projected to lower the federal deficit by $300 billion over the next ten years and lower costs for Americans. 
During an appearance on CNN’s State of the Union today, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said he believes the issue of recognizing same-sex marriage should be left to the states – NOT the federal government.
