Clive Davis, Music Star-Maker, Dead At 94

Clive Davis, the bisexual music executive whose unerring ear and instincts helped define the sound of modern American pop, has died at the age of 94. He is survived by his four children and his partner, Greg Schriefer, 65.

Happy Father’s Day 2026

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there, and to every man who makes a difference in someone’s life. The above photo is my dad taking me (on the left) and my brother Gary to the rodeo in Fort Worth, Texas, in 1968.

Update: National Guard Deployed To Reflecting Pool

The Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool is still getting tons of scrutiny following the Trump administration’s failed $18 million renovation.

As I’m sure you’ve read by now, the water became saturated with clouds of blooming algae, which were obscuring the pool floor that had just been painted a shade of “American flag blue.”
