• Queerty: A NYC-based fashionista called out the gays for a number of trends that he finds disingenuous: “curated body hair, vintage basketball shorts, Le labo scents and performative freeballing.”
• New Music: Carly Rae Jepsen drops her new song and music video, “After All” – from her upcoming album Day and Night set for release September 18.
• The Advocate: Cuts by the Trump administration to PEPFAR have forced 1,700 care sites providing HIV care around the world to close. The program is credited with saving 26 million lives across more than 50 countries.
• Variety: The indie LGBTQ film “Actual Nobodies” – starring Didi Conn (“Grease,” “Best Medicine”) and Austin P. McKenzie (“When We Rise,” “Speech & Debate”) – is scheduled for an early 2027 release.
The dramedy tells the story of two lonely outsiders who find unexpected companionship when a whimsical woman in her seventies rents out her spare room to a young gay man in search of solitude.

• Pink News: A look at Andy Burnham’s record on LGBTQ+ issues as he becomes the new UK Prime Minister.
• New York Times: A South Carolina nonprofit that offers teen health and sex education classes got a letter from the Trump administration saying the organization’s $1.6 million grant to reduce teen pregnancies has been immediately. The administration’s priorities, it said, do not align with “content that encourages, normalizes or promotes sexual activity for minors.”
