• The Advocate: An Oregon state representative has flipped from Republican to Democrat citing in part his gay son and conservative bans targeting LGBTQ+ books.
• Queerty: A gay man’s first date with a bi guy from a dating app was going great, until the date took an unexpected twist – “What’s wrong with JK Rowling?”
Describing his recent experience on that particular platform, dancer Jack Connor Rowan classified Feeld as “the app that straight people treat like Grindr, and gay people treat like Tinder,” which is right on the money.

• Ideastream: The harmful practice of conversion therapy for LGBTQ people (aka “ex-gay therapy”) is now banned in Cuyahoga County, becoming the first county in Ohio to do so.
• Variety: Season 2 of “English Teacher” arrives on FX on Sept. 25. The comedy series follows Brian Jordan Alvarez as an out gay English teacher who must navigate the “political minefield known as the American high school.”
