• The Advocate: The Supreme Court has ruled that health insurance companies must continue covering preventive services recommended by a federal task force — including HIV prevention medication (PrEP), cancer screenings, and vaccines.
• New York Times: Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has announced the U.S.N.S. Harvey Milk, named for the Navy veteran and one of the country’s first openly gay elected officials, will be renamed for Oscar V. Peterson, a chief petty officer who served in WW II.
• Trailer: The new docuseries Alphabet Soup is a raw, unfiltered exploration of queer dating in NYC. Now streaming on Peacock and Amazon Prime.
• OUT: Lisa Kudrow has announced she will return as “Valerie Cherish” for one more season of her acclaimed, meta-satire sitcom, The Comeback.
The series became an instant cult classic despite being canceled after its first season in 2005. Ten years later, HBO released season 2 of The Comeback. And here we are. I adore the show. #squeeeee!
