• Pink News: Pedro Pascal appeared with his sister, Lux Pascal, for a rare joint red-carpet moment at the BFI London Film Festival premiere of his new film Behemoth! Lux publicly came out as transgender in 2021 on the cover of Chilean magazine Ya, and later graduated from Juilliard School in 2023.

Republicans & Democrats Oppose Military Execution Livestream

Members of both the Republican and Democratic parties are voicing their strong opposition to “livestreaming” the firing squad execution of Fort Hood shooter Nidal Hasan as announced Thursday by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth (above).

• The Advocate: House Democrats are demanding answers from Defense Sec. Pete Hegseth about delayed separation pay for transgender service members forced out under the Trump administration’s military ban. Some trans vets have been waiting months and months for tens of thousands.

• New York Times: Last month, the Department of Homeland Security sent Nevada (my state!) a list of 185 names that it claimed identified noncitizens who had been improperly allowed to register to vote. Pentagon Posts (Then Deletes) Plans For Hegseth’s “High-T” Testosterone Military

The Defense Department published detailed clinical guidance for Pete Hegseth’s orders to screen military service members for testosterone deficiencies on Wednesday.

By Thursday, the instructions had disappeared from the Pentagon website.
